I was a little late on posting but past 4th of July my shift was cut. So that same day I made plans to go hang out with the family somewhere. So I’m woken up by a phone call from my target and the call to my suprise is them asking me to come in. OMG I was laughing so hard on the phone that I had to hold back. So when I cake to my senses I told them I can’t because I’ve made other plans since I was informed the night prior my shift had been cut. So she says that’s fine enjoy your day and we hang up.

Did anyone else have their ETL’s or TL’s spy on the cashiers?
I couldn’t make this sh*t up. As a GSA, I’d literally get called up to the offices (ours over-looked our front-end cashier team). And low and behold, an ETL or TL would be sitting in a dark office, call you in – and ask you what’s going on…spying on the cashiers as if they were Shia LaBeouf in, “Disturbia.”

I worked for target for 3 months I got fired. I work logistics at target but I was offered the sales floor team member position. So I injured myself from working on the line in the backroom from all the heavy lifting. So I had to call out three times due to the pain in my back injury.

I worked at my local Target for four years as a softlines brand team member. The pay sucked, but the stress was low and hours flexible so I stayed. After Target’s multi billion dollar fiasco in Canada, the shit really started to roll downhill. As people left, positions never got replaced. Softlines in my store was hit especially hard.

I remember the first time I worked at Target. I always worked hard and strived to be the “the can do everything girl” I enjoyed helping everyone out / assisting etc. Target back then in 2006 wasn’t as atrocious and horrid as it is today. We actually were a team/ we would get everything done and we’d help one another until, the tides changed in the corporate tower.

I was terminated from my job and am currently unable to apply again due to medical injury and the inability to work. My time in the hospital was from June 20th, 2015 to June 30th, 2015. I underwent surgery on for a spontaneous pneumothorax on June 24th, 2015. This injury was not caused from drug use, alcohol use, any incidents or accidents, or drug use. This injury did occur at work furthermore. In that time I had notified my managers that I would be unable to work nor perform any duties while recovering and even after my discharge from the hospital.

They need to get rid of those Mydevice’s. They are useless as the Lod’s and employees. They dont work, the wifi never works, the batteries on them dont last, you always have to charge them every few hours, they shouldve had chargeable batteries with them. Whoever came up with this idea is stupid and needs to be shot!!!

I’m a recent hire with Target and I’m already trying to decide when I want to put in my two weeks notice (or give any notice at all). I should have seen the writing on the wall when I came on board and noticed how MASSIVE the turnover is at my store. Most of the people I currently work with are finishing out their final weeks before leaving for greener pastures and there is a huge vacuum of manpower but many employees still struggle to get enough hours. The asswipes that run my store are losing people faster than they can bring them in and I’m more than happy to give them a few hints as to why:

Alright so ive always loved target ever since i was a kid and thought it was a neat and clean place to shop. I got off of active duty and thought that it would make a great first civilian job. I went in for an interview for electronics and was hired on the spot. I was super stoked about working in my ideal section of the store. My first two weeks were cashiering shifts as part of the training that everyone else gets and I loved it. I had enough energy to bounce off the damn walls and i got Red cards left and right(#FuckthoseThings). I was #1 in the district averaging about 20 a week and would occasionally get 10 a day. Management loved me for the fact that i got so many damn redcards and I in turn loved the attention and praise from doing well at my first job, little did i know how much of a pain this shit would become.

I have worked at Target on the flow crew for quite a while now, and by and large it’s been tolerable. However, that all changed the moment our former Logistics ETL left to go back to school and they hired this bald-headed, Mr. Clean wannabe. What a complete and total ASS.
To say that this guy was in love with himself would be an understatement. He tries so hard to be this aggressive alpha-male type as he attempts to live out his fantasies of being a football coach by pretending the flow crew is this sorry gang of losers who need him to turn things around. WRONG!
