I was hired about a month ago at T2201 for fulfillment, I wasn’t trained by a trainer/lead in the position, I was trained by another entry level employee. There was no “proper” training. Basically on my first day, I was shown how to pick, do ships, and that was that. I was shown at a later time by another entry level employee how to do packing.
So fast forward to several days ago, the closing LOD, called me into her office and told me she had to retape some packages I did and if she had to have a discussion like this with me again, I could get terminated. What the hell?!

Hello, all! I’ve been an employee at Target for over two years and I’m ready to move on. I started out as a seasonal cashier in 2017, and I worked in that position for about a year before I started working at guest service.
Although it has very strong competition, guest service is arguably the worst department in the whole store.

I found this site after getting fired from Target after working a week since I was so angry and wanted to find somewhere to spew my hatred for what they did to me and after a long wait, I finally tell my story.
Ok so I was desperately looking for a job near my college campus for easy commuting in December so I applied to the Target near there since they were hiring at the time and the city had a lot of working opportunity.

So bare with me here. I have only worked for Target (team 0613) for only a year now and it has been a literal HELL! At first it was alright, but then by my 4th or 5th month (everything is a blur now thanks to how they schedule me), my LOD and a few others started to badger and treat me unfairly.

Got hired, hate it. Can’t switch positions or to another Target because I’m under that insanely stupid 90-day policy that only benefits Target. Looking into quitting before I can fulfil the 90 days.. sure, I’ll taint my name, but it’s gotten so bad that I don’t care anymore.

Let me start by apologizing for this vent but I really need some help here…
I’ve worked for target now going on 5 years.I am now and have always been a guest service attendant. My availability has always been open because,I don’t have a reason to close it.However I am being treated unfairly when it comes to the schedule.

So I work at store 1945, and I’ve been on flow team for a little over a year. Truck days are 6am until 4th quarter, which is pushed a couple of hours earlier to 4am.
I’m always in the departments that require the heaviest lifting, (pets, plastics/furniture.) Yet I get the smallest amount of appreciation.

This one is for you, Target T1946.
I should’ve known from the start that working at this Target would be horrible. Let me start off with saying that they don’t pay you nearly enough (yet they give away gift cards like their souls depend on it) to put up with the amount of stuff that they put you through.

I’m a back room team member at our location. Recently I came in to close, not knowing what I was walking in to. The TL tells me as he’s about to clock out: “Oh yeah, check for online orders would ya?” I look and there’s 8 orders, as much as 4 hours overdue.
