So just to warn you: I’m no longer a Target employee so I’m not suffering the same turmoil as you guys.
I was working in a Super Target in the Bakery. Now, it was a commonly known fact that the Bakery and the Deli shared the same team lead (is that what they’re called? they changed the terminology when I left).

I’m sure I could call corporate hr and maybe get an answer but sometimes I feel like its better to ask other employees…
Recently it was eval time… And my managers made a big deal out of pay raises this time around… Saying that no one ever gets raises like this ever and we should be grateful… blah blah blah…

ok so ive worked for target for about 2 months now, and everything is pretty chill most of the time since i live in a smaller town so redcards arent super pushed. But they still are, i still have to ask every guest, and talk about cartwheel.

Okay, so here it goes. I have a Senior Team Lead that is absolutely awful to work with. All the other ETLs, SrTL, and TLs are fantastic to work with, but this one in particular is an absolute bitch to work with. Let’s just call this SrTL M. Her behavior on the sales floor is unprofessional and quite infuriating.

I was hired in early October. Not once in any interviews did they say anything about me being a seasonal worker. All of my paperwork says Hardlines, Part-Time, stuff like that, yet I am treated as a seasonal employee and constantly reminded about how my time may be limited now that I am working there. What happens if they try to let me go at the end of the season for being a “Seasonal Worker” when that isn’t documented at all? I won’t be too heartbroken if they make me leave but is that even legal? To document me as one kind of worker and then try to say I’m not and get rid of me? What are my options if this happens? Has anyone else had this experience?

I’m fairly new to the cash register… The holidays are coming up and I really need some advice on what it’s like to work as a cashier during the holidays. I know it’s going to be super crowded.Does that mean that time will go by fast since everyone is going to be at the registers? How many cashiers do they hire? Also, I’m scared that my conversions are going to go down cause I know the computer is going to prompt us like crazy…also the rude guests? How do I deal with them?
Just any advice you all can offer to me to make sure I don’t blow it?
Thanks!

My 90 day eval is coming up next week I’m so nervous. I dealt with a rude customer a while ago which really upset me and they knew that…afraid they won’t wanna keep me around.I’m a cashier and I’ve managed to get 5 red cards in the course of 3 months. I’m not exactly sure what my conversion is. Anyways, what do I expect at a 90 day evaluation? I’m so nervous! I really wanna be cross trained! How can I achieve that?!

Hello guys.
Came to Albany, OR store, and purchased 6 Febreze items, $2.99 each. kinda of home spray, to kill scent.
I have had coupons to take one item free with purchase of 2 similar. Coupon not to exceed $3.99
When came to register, cashier just scanned coupon, not reading content.
Register took $3.99 off.
I have pointed on it to cashier, she got stuck for being not knowing how to fix it.
Customer service manager came, got mad, that I take 6 items, accused of store clean-up, and refused to complete sale.
Wondering, if someone can help locate Oregon stores district manager, so I can ask my questions to him, or her. thanks
