TARGET RUINED MY CHILD’S CHRISTMAS AND COULDN’T CARE LESS!
A month before x-mas, I ordered a Singer sewing machine for my daughter. Weeks went by so I started calling Target (because they never kept me up to date) at which time the team members would tell me that the item was on it’s way. Four day before x-mas I called again because my gift still had not arrived , but my card had been charged for weeks. It was at that time that a team member told me that the merchandise was on back ordered and that they would refund my money in 10-12 days. So I was now without the gift, without the money and when I asked if they could check if a nearby Target had it, I was told they were all out of stock. I asked to speak to a supervisor and after being hung up on 3 times, the supervisor said there was nothing they could do to help me. I got on the computer and found that they were in stock in a Target an hour away so I took a day off work, drove an hour and bought the same machine but it was $15 more because it was no longer on sale. I will never give them my business. I tried to call to complain and they refused to allow me to speak to anyone other than the rude, condescending and dismissive team members. I have never ever been so frustrated and offended by a store. Shame on Target, thanks for saving me a lot of money in your store. The gift cards that I always bought there for my family, I now purchased at a store that cares about their customers and who has good customer service. I guess the reason your company doesn’t have many complaints is because you don’t provide an avenue for people to file a complaint. How small of you Target!!!
