I was a new hire and I had to take a day off to take care of family business. Still only had my paper schedule and it cut off that day. Went in later that day to ask when my next shift was and only got shrugs. “Okay, disorganized much?” I thought to myself. I work only weekends so I know I dont have shifts during the week. Anyways, kept calling to see if they had updated the schedule or any news of that sense. NEVER got a clear answer. Finally after two weeks, I had enough of their shit and called in store again. Was told that I had been fired for NCNS. Are you fucking serious?

Okay, so here it goes. I have a Senior Team Lead that is absolutely awful to work with. All the other ETLs, SrTL, and TLs are fantastic to work with, but this one in particular is an absolute bitch to work with. Let’s just call this SrTL M. Her behavior on the sales floor is unprofessional and quite infuriating.

So there’s something that doesn’t happen everyday. I just started working backroom about a month ago, and I was closing today, which meant I had to make bales (apparently no one except backroom is trained to throw cardboard into the baler so I had like 7 cages just overflowing with the stuff) and I needed to set the line. Today had not been a normal day.

So I work at store 1945, and I’ve been on flow team for a little over a year. Truck days are 6am until 4th quarter, which is pushed a couple of hours earlier to 4am.
I’m always in the departments that require the heaviest lifting, (pets, plastics/furniture.) Yet I get the smallest amount of appreciation.

Hello everyone, I am Alex who worked at a Target.
I was hired during the summer of 2015 and when the hiring manager asked me my availability I said “Open to close, but once school starts my hours will need to be cut”. Sadly the hiring LOD had wax in her ears when I said this.

I’m a back room team member at our location. Recently I came in to close, not knowing what I was walking in to. The TL tells me as he’s about to clock out: “Oh yeah, check for online orders would ya?” I look and there’s 8 orders, as much as 4 hours overdue.

I worked for target for 8 months.
it was by far the worst job I’ve ever had.
I’ll just leave some examples here. I’m not even going to start in on how the employees invaded my personal space, lectured me like a child, insulted me and how the LOD stuck her fat ass nose in my life by sending a cop to my house!

Note that this legit is not happening to me but is happening to a co-worker of mine instead. Years ago my co-worker had the Target Redcard (the credit card one) and defaulted on it before they ever became a Target employee. They were having financial troubles at the time thanks to the housing market crisis that took place across the good ol’ USA (thanks banks for screwing the little man over yet again with that [whole other topic however]!). So they defaulted on the red card and eventually the debt was paid off fully. Keyword being fully here, guys. A little more than a year ago this person became a Target employee. Not more than about 2 weeks ago now a letter was sent to the store regarding this default that took place years before they ever became an employee at Target. First red flag. Shouldn’t this kind of personal mail be sent to your home address and not your business’ address, even though it comes from the company at which you are an employee? The letter states that about 25% of his paychecks will be garnished to pay off this debt, which by the way was already paid off years before he ever became employed there. It also stated that if they want to refute the company’s actions or even the said debt itself, they must hire a private attorney.

Oh target where do I even start with this awful hatrid. It is now to the point where I dread work and my 50 cent raise above minimum wage doesn’t do jack squat anymore. It all starts when I walk into the office before my shift to get a locker. I open one and it’s full of tuperware, I open another and it has a lunch box. Really?? Is it THAT hard you can’t possibly dig out a quarter and lock your fucking locker? There is a goddammed fridge for a reason also. I then hang up my jacket, which there really is no point because by the end of my shift its always on the floor anyways knocked off by employees who leave it there. I then attempt to punch in and let it beep at me for five hours and then walk onto the floor as cashier. I check to see what lane I’m on and set up my register with the 2 ten dollar bills they give you which run out after one “guest”. I hang my flimsy ass bags that never fail to stick together and end up all over the floor. Before I even have a chance to turn on my lane light I already have a line of people waiting to be checked out screaming “Are you open???” understaffed again I see. I mumble yes, and they start to unload their cart with mulitple of the same item that they will try and use their fake fraudulent $20 dollar off coupons for razors that don’t even match their item.

Where the fuck do I begin? Maybe I’ll start with my worthless ass Team leads who seem to always forget what they told you to do 3 minutes ago? Nah because 2 out of the 6 of them were cool. Maybe I’ll start with my Snitch ass coworkers who loaf all fucking day causing a back jam in work? Nah that’s too easy.. How bout I start with the bullshit reason I got let go? Yeah I’ll start there… Perfect. Grab your Popcorn and juju beez and large beverage for this one.. Little over 3 months ago 2 co workers of mines named Renell 25 and ex-con Terrence 47 (who loves to tell everybody he did 8 years) got into a shouting match almost coming to blows. After a 2 week investigation the 2 workers are back on schedule with a final warning I guess..
