I left Tarshit quick as hell. I saw how people were walking off the job but I felt like I could hold on up until one day. In our huddle the LOD insisted that we worked harder.

I have had a lot of health problems within my life, so most recently I lost a lot of hearing. 75% hearing loss, and I can only hear out of one ear with the low 75% hearing loss, other deaf forever. So I got that fixed somewhat by a audiologist to raise hearing aids to the max level, so I can hear a lot better but I have tinnitus ringing fuzzy of voice, music, and anything else.

I’ve been with Target for a little over a year. Before I got the job my health was pretty good. I’m not gonna say I was doing great but it surely wasn’t where it is now. I now have heart problems that require I take a good dose of medication daily, as well as seizures that would scare the hell out of anyone who was standing close by when they occur.

I hate working at target. 🙂 quitting today will be the best decision I’ve made. First off lets just mention the weird guy employees who follow you around and ask you millions of personal questions and when you tell AP he does nothing and you continue to feel uncomfortable at your job!

so I have been wanting to quit target for a long time, shitty customers and the red card bullshit was too much. I was a good person though and always got good surveys and was kind to everyone. I got fired today due to me not getting enough red cards… Has this happened to anyone else ? It was my first job so I’m really frustrated, I thought I was doing a good enough job. Any thoughts ?

Finally quit this aweful place! Pretty funny that I got to quit in the team lead/LOD that I can’t stand. Finally had enough and got into another line of work completely. Called Target and let her know I wouldn’t be coming in and that I quit. My buddy covered my shift so he could see how mad she got because no one in that store has respect for her. She sat around all night huffing and telling everyone my business.

I have been in the work force a very long time, and I can honestly say that Target is one of the worst companies I have ever worked for (Dish Network being #1). What they expect of people is unrealistic in conjunction to what they are paid. This company expects the workers to kill themselves and the store to look absolutely perfect for a hair above minimum wage. You can’t be sick and your time is monitored to the minute for lunch. Speaking of lunch, Target does what the bare minimum of what the state requires which is usually 30 minutes. You have to take your lunch on your 5th hour but not go over 6 or you will be out of “compliance”. So you have to clock out at a certain time that is monitored to the minute, yet if you stand in front of the time clock to wait for said minute to pass, you get in trouble, what else are you supposed to do for 1 whole minute of time?

So i just got home from target. My manager wanted to talk about my attendance. I called off a few weeks ago because i was really sick and had to go to the er. I brought in a doctors note. My manager told me that she didn’t know i was in the hospital but that’s no excuse…. i almost blew up. I’m sorry next time I’ll come in and throw up everywhere.

I was working as a cashier at the target close to my house and sometime around the end of October a woman comes in with her two daughters that were totally excited to use their money from their allowance to get toys. They ended up having money left over and one of the girls tells me I can have it. I say no because I was told we weren’t allowed to accept money. I start ringing up their mother’s groceries and she gets a 10 dollar gift card. I informed her of her card and put it down by the register so I could finish ringing her up. I tell her about it again at the end of her transaction and she tells me to just keep it before leaving. I had witnessed a coworker do this a week earlier and she had no problems so I did.
