T1846 sucks big hairy donkey balls

FUCK YOU T1846 for being assholes and bitches! Find any excuse to fire good people! my favorite GSA was fired for coupons! Really? What about ETL’s holding clearance in their offices?

Why isn’t that a violation of store policy? There’s a GSTL that puts clearance shit on hold ALL the time so tell me why the violating of store policy doesn’t apply to her?

I’ll tell you why, cause management team cover each others ass and if you are one they like then you can do whatever the fuck you want and there will be no consequences. I call it BULLSHIT!

The whole store is even worse as for as morale it seems like every time someone gets fired the team (excluding the ETL’s) is affected. What about being more FFF yourselves ETL’s all of you sorry ass kissers lack FFF and if you do show it it’s fake as a motherfucker!

One day this company (T1846) will have a huge wake up call and better believe it’ll hit the news!

  • A friend recently got fired from this shit hole. As soon as she told a bunch of us I was so angry. She seemed pretty relaxed and she sensed some kind of relief. There’s a lot of us that saw that coming though, they were looking for any excuse to fire her and they did.

The good thing is that she no longer has to deal with all the bullshit and put up with these annoying ass ETL’s. I’m happy she’s out of here but I’m sad cause she was fun to work with. ETL’s hated that she got along well with others, not only was she an awesome person but she had the kind of personality that draws you.

MI even heard they had written her up for not being FFF really? I can made ten purple out of the top of my head that very much lack FFF come one who are we fooling?

  • Okay so lets see how do I go about starting this new thread? Oh okay I got it, target hates you, dislikes you and here’s the reason you’re getting fired____________________ (fill in the lame blank). So a friend got fired today for a violation of “company policy” hmmmmm lets see???????? Oh wait if that’s the case then there is soooooooooo many of us that should of gotten fired by now. I won’t go into details cause I don’t wanna put her on blast but I personally think that they found any excuse to get rid of her. Don’t know what member of management fired her but all I can say is that TARGET SUCKS! I kinda feel happy for her kinda bittersweet because I’m happy that she doesn’t have to put up with the bullshit at the worse company ever but it sucks that she doesn’t have a job now. I’m sure she will find something, she’s a hard worker and an awesome person to work with. FUCK YOU TARGET!

  • Long story short I’ve been with Target 10 years now.  All 10 years being in the food side mostly as Produce TL, now Senior TL.  I’ve been cross trained in Meat (when we used to do actual cuts), Deli, Bakery, Starbucks, Food Ave, Grocery, LOD you name it.  Safe to say I know my shit.  I’m still employed with Target and for the life of me I don’t know why.  I have my 4 year from a decent school here in CO (CU).  I just have this hope that one day it will all change and become better.  I do honestly like working produce and interacting with guest and with the down to earth “real” team members.  My first few years when I started in 2002 were awesome.  Everything just went smoothly till the influx of new ETL’s, STL’s, HR’s.  It all went down hill fast.

  • I’ve been working at Target (full time) for almost 2 months, and I’m starting school soon. The beginning of this month I gave TSC my school schedule and I changed my availability online. I requested to work 3 days a week, 20 hours maximum. And I am available anytime on Saturdays and Sundays, pretty lenient right? I even spoke to the ETL who makes the schedule a couple of times explaining to him my situation, and he seemed to be sympathetic and understanding of my wishes telling me it was no problem. So today, I look at the Week 3 schedule to see that they have me working 30 HOURS, 4 DAYS A WEEK. Clearly not what I said my availability was, and there’s no way I can work that much being that it’s my freshman year of college and school is my main priority. I spoke to one of my co-workers today about it, and he told me they disregard his availability requests (since he works 2 jobs) pretty much all the time, and has been at Target for 7 YEARS. I am super angry, and I am going to talk to the ETL about this the next time I see him. If I don’t see a change, I’m leaving this fucking company.

  • Hey there. I’ve been working at a Super Target as a Cart Attendant for roughly 16 months now. I’m writing this article to express my opinion on working for Target; particularly as a Cart Attendant. I’m not trying to be emotional and lash out and call Target crappy, but I’m sure a majority of my expressions will be negative. It won’t be solely about my responsibilities with my job, but also about my interactions with the upper management and guests. I’ll try and be as objective as possible.

    The “Vibe” Paradox

I’ve resisted writing about the Vibe until now. Recently I’ve gotten at least two hand outs on the Vibe which in itself wouldn’t bother me. Thanks for the scrap paper. What does bother me is that I’ve been coached on it twice. I’ve worked at Target for years, and now they’re saying that not only am I not efficient enough due to them increasing their standards but they don’t like the fact that I’m not a used car salesman. I can understand that they want to change their policy but let’s have a little reality check.

    I hate my TL

Today I was scheduled to open, as I have been for the past three days. Everything was going great until my TL came in for the mid-shift at Starbucks. You would think on a busy day that she could oh, you know…stick around and help me with the line of customers. First, she immediately goes over to talk to people she knows. Then, she just vanishes! I’ve been there three weeks and already I hate my job.

If that wasn’t bad enough, I was scheduled to get off at 5 and a half hours so I wouldn’t have to take a lunch. She goes on lunch 15 minutes before I get off work, and is gone for 45 minutes!!! And when I see her, she is in the aisles talking to some guy and flirting!

When she gets back, I get yelled at for not talking a lunch. I didn’t get a lunch or a 15 minute break. Two different ETL’s yell at me, then as I am heading on my way to clock out, ANOTHER person who’s title I don’t even know pulls me into her office because I wasn’t “vibing” with a customer and I looked “upset”. No kidding?! Maybe because I got yelled at twice in ten minutes, hadn’t gotten a bathroom break in six hours or gotten to even rest for a minute.

If I didn’t need this paycheck, I would quit.

National Day of Strike – August 29th

    Hey everyone,

You might have seen me in the comments, but this is my first actual post on this site.

I figured I’d spread the word that there is a nationwide strike being planned for August 29th consisting of fast food workers and other low wage workers. If you’re sick of Target and aren’t planning on sticking around – or if you work another job or have friends/family working in similar conditions – now’s the chance to let your feelings be known. Keep in mind that the applicant pools are huge and Target or <insert company here> probably won’t hesitate to fire you for striking, but we’ve got to take a stand at some point and fight for living wages. We employees are just as much the lifeblood of the company as consumers and we deserve more for our hard work. Just make sure you have large enough groups to halt productivity for the duration of the strike, or else the effect will be minimal; we’ve got to hit the bottom-line for it to work.

More information can be found herehttp://lowpayisnotok.org/

Take care and best of luck to those who participate.

    Sincerely,
    A fellow Target wageslave
