So I started working at Target since July 2012,I got hired as an Electronics Team Member,it was all chill and ok in the beginning…eventhough they put me on the register without even training me or anything at all.
They hired me as a full time employee, but the only time I got more than 35 hours were around END of October up until 2nd week of January,so long story short they keep putting pressure on us that WE HAVE TO VIBE and GET Attachments and RED Cards, because we are RED OR YELLOW sometimes,I keep telling them hey “BUT THEY GUESTS DONT WANT TO BUY ESP’S or ATTACHMENTS” they just tell me WELL TRY TO PUSH THEM OR WORK YOUR MAGIC!!! wtf???

So I got a call from the awareness line when I had made a formal complaint. Wow I thought I was pissed due to the bullshit you deal with in the store. The shit that came out of the persons mouth / attitude, was ridiculous. I’m thinking wow this person deals with issues that employees are having. YOU JUST GET STEAM ROLLED, it don’t matter, they take the stores side of the story and it becomes the team members fault. Such a single sided conversation.
Complaint in store = Who cares? We don’t
Complaint to awareness line= We don’t care but it’s your fault any way.
I’m glad I got a real job now.
Hope them folks @ 1846 win that suit and maybe it will teach them to treat people better. People are more than a number. The people are the ones that make money for the executive management to sit in their yachts in their nice comfy offices.
Take a stroll into a store unannounced and see the horse shit that happens in these buildings.

This might be a bit of a ramble, but fuck it.
I was brought in for temporary work during the 2010 holiday season. At the time the job was okay despite the lack of hours. I was officially hired on shortly after the holidays. My hours picked up and they eventually had me cross training the hardlines and the backroom. We were usually stuck there till 1AM because the store was so busy. There were never enough back up cashiers.
Then about a year ago something magical happened. Our HR ETL was fired and her little helper quit. Come to find out those two along with a few other ETLS were committing time clock fraud by altering employee clock-ins and clock-outs. My STL was in on it too. He was always a greedy dick bag. He never cared who he affected as long as he got his. We were lucky enough to only see him about once a month when he actually decided to come to work. Unfortunately no one else lost their job for screwing over the employees on their paychecks.

We LOVE you “ihatetarget.net”
heres a funny story: so the ETL’s at the hell hole were/are blaming this girl that goes by the name Cloud, I think it’s sad and shitty that they point fingers at people without really knowing who’s who on here.
Another thing that I love about ihatetarget.net is that EVERYONE refers to target as “the hell hole” is that fucking cool or what. None of us know who’s who on here yet we’re on the same page. That is too cool!
Theres this other girl and a guy who work at this store that have been questioned and blamed for this site. Really? Come on management go pretend you’re working, walk around in two’s like you always do. Pick up strays or pick the wedgie out of your ass flick a booger at the team members it’s no different that overly using them to work harder so all of you can look good when there’s a visit.
Sure have team members bust their ass and you get all the credit………..that’s what you call: SHADY! And that’s how this store rolls.
will the real slim shady please stand up? Hahahaha ok all of you win the shady award!

I have posted earlier on here about my story so I am going to repeat a little bit of it. Keep in mind my last day working there was on the 16th of August, after that I called in once or twice and did a “no call no show” once. I figured being the new guy and calling in or your 4th day of work and doing a “no call no show” the next shift was an automatic termination. I freaked out because they gave me 9-10 days off straight and only gave me 8 hours the week after that so I did the next best thing, look for another job. I did just that and I am currently working at Fry’s which by the way is pretty fun since the people there are laid back and funny as hell, oh and on a side note, I got to meet Alice Cooper on my first day! Turns out he’s a regular there.
So anyways, I went in earlier today to pick up my 1st check and last day at Target and my HR manager invites me to her office and says ” ______! How are you?! Where have you been?! I haven’t seen you since orientation.” , she said it in a friendly manner so I wasn’t being yelled at. I replied “I am doing good and have been working at my new job because I was getting very few hours here and I thought I was fired for that no call no show.” I couldn’t believe her face expression, she was shocked as hell, lol. She says “You did a no call no show?! No one told me about that!” and continues “Well did you know that you are still on the schedule?.” Right when she said that the first thing to pop into my head was “ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?!?”

Why are my friends having a hard time registering on this site? Please help or any ideas as to why? There are at least 20 people that want to be part of this awesome site but they can’t, it gives them an error message at the end of the registration process. Help us!

Hi everyone that loves “ihatetarget.net” you guys make life so much more fun! Regardless of what shitty day I have at 1846 I always look forward to read the latest on this site. Regardless if it’s a post about our store or just target in particular it’s always managed to make me laugh after a shitty ass day at work.
I see all our ETL’s at our store act like a bunch of fakes they’re not really losers per say cause they do have a job even though their work ethics suck as far as being FFF and being productive. They are super productive when the DTL stops by, hell I’ve even seen them pick up trash when he’s there and I really wished I could of taken a picture of that. Total Kodak moment hehehe!!!!!!!!! So tomorrow is Labor Day and let me guess??????? We are getting fed assholes, ears, tails and intestines for it being a holiday WOOHOO hot dogs for the puppies. Fucken disgusting and they could at least get kosher hotdogs like real all beef not butts and assholes. Ewww!
So everyone I’ll say 90% of my store wants to join this site I hope they do, imagine how fun that will be. Can’t wait. Well my ihatetarget.net friends I wish you all a fun and safe Labor Day and may all if you eat kosher hot dogs or something better! TOOTLES!

Here’s the deal…By the grace of God, I finally have the opportunity to leave this awful company. I got a job offer from my school to be an administrative assistant in the building that houses my major. It’s M-F, no evenings, no weekends during the school year. I wouldn’t make as much (minimum wage), but it would still be enough to cover all of my expenses. The start date isn’t set in stone, but I’m pretty sure it would be in about a week.
The hours clash with Target’s (of course), so giving a 2 week notice and actually working after the notice wouldn’t allow me to take this job immediately. I’m afraid that if I don’t start right away, then I would lose my opportunity because there are people lined up for it. I’m a little stuck with regards to quitting bullseye. Can you give a week’s notice and still be ok?
If you’ve read my previous posts, you know that I hate Target with all of my heart, but I really don’t want this to end badly. The ride’s been bad enough and I’d rather not get launched through the windshield. Has anybody ever had this problem? How’d you go about handling it?
I’ve wanted out for almost 2 years and my shot is finally here!! Any help is appreciated.

I am so close to quitting it isn’t even funny.
My TL was the scheduled opener of Starbucks today and immediately when I got there at noon, she took her lunch. She didn’t come back until an hour later, and then wandered around the grocery section, looking for people she liked so she could visit. When she got back, she immediately ignored the line of customers we had and started visiting with another TL who was on her lunch. They chatted for 15 minutes. I clocked her. Once it died down again, she wandered over to Food Ave to visit with them for 10 minutes. Then, she came back and spent the rest of her shift talking with her friends in the deli.
I was literally running around like crazy with the busy rush we had while she flapped her damned gums. And the worst part? So many ETL’s saw it and didn’t say one effing word. I guarantee if it were me, I’d be getting “coached”.
Why the hell wont they do anything about people like her?! How has she managed to become a manager when she is nothing but a lazy, gabby bitch? UGH!

Ok so we could debate on where this could go but I think it works at a store level easier. No matter who the STL is they are the emperor (good give in to your hate) while HR is Darth Vader, since AP supposedly works close to HR they are Boba Fett. From here to each his own but at my store our GM ETL is Jabba the Hutt since their pushy on the red cards. The other ETLS are the royal guard which works cause they are in red robes. Our flow team sucks so their storm troopers the guests we decided are tusken raiders since their loud destructive and annoying. The cart attendants are Jawas since they have to hurry bac and forth getting carts and the like and produce team is cloud city since their pretty much left alone we have a few individuals as specific characters but that’s the general jist what about everybody else?
