Update on my last post:
I’m still unemployed and looking for a job and while it is very frustrating, I have never been happier about a decision in my life. However, I got interviewed at Walgreens yesterday and guess what the fuck popped up on my interview process?!?! Those fuckers at Target put the I was fucking terminated even though I FUCKING quit!!!! You can imagine how fucking awkward it was for me when my interviewer asked me why I got terminated from Target. I asked her, what do you mean terminated?

(14) I have worked at target for 9 months and like everyone I had high hopes for the place. Started as one of the originals. Building the store from the ground up! Nowhere did I sign onto do hard manual labour in outrageous conditions. The heat was broken which made the place extremely hot. Then during the winter it broke and all our cashiers had to wear their winter coats! There are a lot of flaws. And a lot of team members who think they are the shit. One person in particular is a guy who works in our electronics department. He goes around flirting with all the female team members when he’s a complete ass. He’s even admitted to wanting to bang an ETL. Gross. He makes working uncomfortable but he’s everyone’s favorite. There’s so much ass kissing it’s sickening. Team leads getting away with doing punch corrections for not even being at work!!! How is that fair?! I’m so glad to be out of that place. I did meet some cool people but I’m done with all that bullshit!!!

Four of those as TPS, another four as GSA, and now I’m on presentation. I used to love working at Target, until I transferred to my new store four years ago. Talk about a bunch of snobs! Anyway, my post today is a rant about how absolutely ridiculous this week has been (and it’s only Tuesday!!!)
So, I just switched to presentation about two months ago. I love it, it’s so nice to be off the front end (that’s another rant in itself)! But, today I found myself very tempted to walk out. We are currently resetting grocery, which obviously is a huge workload. We have a very small presentation team even though we are a Supertarget and always have a crap ton of resets. So this week we pretty much have double the work per person. Yesterday I had a nine hour pog which took that long, BUT with two people helping me. Today, my TL gives me a six hour pog and a five and half hour pog. To finish in eight hours. With one person helping me for four of those hours.

It was all REALLY good up until like my 2nd month working here, one of my coworkers became really into me and we hit off nicely, up until I learned she was dating one of the current LOD’s (who was a dick btw). So this certain LOD and his coworkers (ALL LODS may I add) began to one by one show their true colors towards me. Her boyfriend began attempting to write me up for things that she would also do such as not clean up or label correctly (keep in mind I was there for 2 months and hadn’t completely learned everything), and then report to my TL who would also question why he didn’t write BOTH of us up. Jealousy. So then 3 other LOD’s and an AP lod would continue to fuck with me and try to write me up for shit, I was asked to work 2 areas one of which I never worked before all at once because someone went home sick that day, and so the next day I was written up for messing up too many times in the area I never worked by one of the LOD’s. bull fucking shit.
Likes(14)Dislikes(0) So I’ve been with target for 2 months now, and this is what I’ve gotten so far. I work as cart attendant and rarely as cashier. I love being outside doing carts(if it wasn’t so hot out). But every time i get one side caught up and the other side is completely empty, our LOD asks me to cover a couple of breaks. So when i’m done with that and i go back out to do carts, 5 minutes into it, i get a call on the walkie saying “cart attendant, we have no carts on blue side”. and I can’t say anything back to them except “that’s clear”. It’s like they’re completely oblivious as to why they have none. That, and now they have me come in from 1-5pm almost everyday except Sunday(i close), so from 8am-1pm no one is getting carts. SO when i come in, we have none and i get a “talking to” that i need to start hustling to get the carts in.
My two supervisors, who are the worst people ever, can never be found on the front lanes like they have to be.

at first I thought I would actually enjoy working here but boy was I wrong! I have never DREADED coming to work so much before until I was hired at target. There’s a GSTL who recently moved up positions (out of all the leaders, they had to move her up) whom is big on red cards and expects every cashier to “at least” get 3 or 4. That’s a pretty high expectation considering the whole scandal that just happened. Fuck the “guest” who blame the cashiers for the breach! Like if it was our fault we didn’t set up a firewall before they swipe their cards!
Likes(27)Dislikes(7) Ok just wanted to start off saying Target is an nice place to shop but not such a nice place to work. Is anyone experiencing these “vibe” moments at your store? Well what I mean is at my store they are wipping the guest but left and right. For example a week ago at my register we had to change prices for guest that were originally 49.99 to 19.99 cause the guest said it was in the wrong spot. We had to do that for 2 people in a row. They call it vibing yeah right. I had an strong feeling the guest moved signs around so they get the good price. Another vibing experience was yesterday at my register a quest had 19 coupons for 19 exact same items & I tell her I can’t except these our manufacturer coupons limit 4 per an item per day per guest ect she than tells me oh guest service does it all the time.
Likes(24)Dislikes(20) So after reading so many posts and looking at so many angry employees I have finally decided to join your ranks. When I was originally hired the etl at the time (nice guy) only promised me 12 hours a week which I was happy to just have a temp job so I happily took it. I was a flow team member and busted hump for the first month or so even earning a gift card. I assume it’s their employee of the month. I quickly found out though that hard work is not appreciated. Only one raise for a whole years work really ? I gave better raises to my worst employees at mcdonalds .
Likes(32)Dislikes(8) I lost my good job as a repair tech for a vacuum systems company back in March. I applied at Macy’s (they wanted to hire me @$7.25 hr), and of course, Target. They asked what position I was “really” interested in, and I said I’d like to be a salesperson. Ha!!!! Of course I had to run a register for my first day, and then day after day it was strays and pulls and zoning and back-up cashier. I spent only 4 weeks working there, and never got trained to do anything. I learned 4X4’s, and that was it. The management was okay, but one day, the asst. store manager ( I still don’t get the weird titles Target has ) asks me “Pop quiz, hotshot!”, and looked at her like she was r******d and said “What?” She said I had clocked in 2 minutes early from lunch the week before. Big deal. It was the time clock being screwy for a lot of TM’s that day. Needless to say, my higher paying job called me and wants me back. So goodbye Targét! One day notice!

So I’ve worked at Target for about A year and 8 months or so. Well what can I say I started as a Sales floor TM and electronics TM. Well throughout my whole year I was never schudeled for an electronics shift until after my first year the two times I was scheduled was on low and behold Black Friday and the day the PS4 came out. Throughout that year I made friends with a lot of the team member all cool people. I also started to notice this guy that worked electronics was a total douche bag who thought he was above everyone else cuz his brother was dating the HR ETL’s sister. He said he would get fired cuz he has immunity. That dumbass never did anything he would always be far away from the boat never answer the phone always would flirt with any girl that was there and would leave an effin mess at the boat ALL THE TIME!!! The Senior Team Lead was a bit of a jerk as well always had someone else do his job that he couldn’t finish which was up to douchbag guy to do it. Which he was basically his bitch. Haha
