    But I just started…

I mean not all of them are mean, a lot are actually very friendly. Im a 17 year old girl and this is my first job ever. The other girls that work with me are pretty nice..but some of the guys are rude and act like they are way smarter than I am. I just started but I am done with my training’s, and one of the guys who doesn’t even train people came over and watched me check a guest out, it was disturbing and overwhelming. Then I had trouble getting a security lock off and i asked him to help, and he opened it right in front of a guest and made fun of me and i just wanted to hide after that.

Cross-Trained Team Member who has had it.

Hired as a seasonal employee I took the role of a Human Resource Team Member. Being told how good I’ve been doing – doing the stupid 3-11 shifts (including new years, christmas eve, and thanksgiving) because my Team Leader said we all have to start somewhere. It was so horrible! Not only do you have to do your own specific job in human resources for some idiotic reason we also have to give over 100 team members their equipment, sign it out for them, go after them for punch corrections, post schedules while everyone’s on you telling you to hurry, having the phone ring ring ring and having to buzz people in the god damn man trap, psssttt that was a piece of cake for just $8.75/hr.

  • Work the register, they said. it will be easy, they said. Now, I dont know when I was pronounced the Queen of Target, but apparently I am, and guest think so as well. There must have been a sign on me that said “I make the Fucking Sales Prices for Target, come to me”…..guest complain and get upset all the time when they realize their item isnt the price they thought it was..TOUGH FUCKING SHIT, MAN UP! I dont care if you found the fucking pillow in the clearance section, the machine says its not on clearance!

    Target in Kemah, Texas

So I’ve been with target for 2 months now, and this is what I’ve gotten so far. I work as cart attendant and rarely as cashier. I love being outside doing carts(if it wasn’t so hot out). But every time i get one side caught up and the other side is completely empty, our LOD asks me to cover a couple of breaks. So when i’m done with that and i go back out to do carts, 5 minutes into it, i get a call on the walkie saying “cart attendant, we have no carts on blue side”. and I can’t say anything back to them except “that’s clear”. It’s like they’re completely oblivious as to why they have none. That, and now they have me come in from 1-5pm almost everyday except Sunday(i close), so from 8am-1pm no one is getting carts. SO when i come in, we have none and i get a “talking to” that i need to start hustling to get the carts in.

My two supervisors, who are the worst people ever, can never be found on the front lanes like they have to be.

    Went from ok to worse

So I’ve been working here as a cashier for almost a year in southern California. The pay is alright considering I’m just part time, however working conditions just began to get bad recently.

Before, our break schedule followed the 2-4-6 rule, which was easy to work with and the TLS generally followed it. Now it’s a computerized schedule rather than the TLS manually writing in the break schedules for the day. For an 8 hour shift, you get your first break just one hour after you start, lunch usually on just your third hour, and the last break on your fifth hour. On top of them not running the ac in the front, it gets hot and tiring really fast. A few including myself have gotten woozy due to working almost 4 full hours without a break. One actually passed out. Everyone hates it.

Are there hidden cameras in the break room

I know that there are  cameras where the tables are to eat lunch, and I know there’s one where the lockers are to put our belongings in, but, are there hidden cameras in the break room and if so, where??

    okay so

I work as a barista in target starbuck’s. Not only is it one of the most popular target stores where I live but the target is located in one of the wealthiest areas and its surrounded by large corporate company’s. I despise my job. Not only do I have the most rudest customers but also the most annoying customers. Taking orders for these professional mom’s that come in with there kids after their morning jog is absolutely annoying, they treat you like shit and talk to you even worse but I have to say the worst are the corporate big shots. I’ll say “Hi can I take you order” and they don’t even acknowledge me, they just start ordering their drink and don’t even look at me, They just stare off into space. To top it off my ETL is a major cunt.

Cashier Chronicles: Why I hate target

Okay, so I have ALOT to say about this bullshit fulfilled year at Target. I started working there when I was 16 it was my first job so I was very grateful I enjoyed the training part and the first couple of weeks but my hatred for the job started to grow. First off, the managers are just assholes! They abuse their power they act like they’re the king and queen of Scotland or something.

    Hate my job

I don’t really have an issue with the guests. I get 1-4 redcards a night but I do it more because I like to help guests, and SOMETIMES they give us free electronics movies (or rare cases they give you any item from electronics and once I grabbed a $14.99 skylander and have a bunch of freebie $5 movies) but none of this has to do with my issue. I’m autistic so I tend to be very specific in how I interact with most guests, and I tell jokes like “I see you bought some alchohol, well I don’t have to wish you a good night, you’ve planned ahead, but make sure the next morning isn’t so bad” and people laugh, I tell people “If you subscribe to Playstation Plus instead of buying this game you can get it for free, and like 15 other games” and so the guests really aren’t my issue.

My issue is with the indentured servitude bullshit. My issue is with them acting like we owe them something because they pay us a MIRACULOUS 50 cents or maybe a dollar or 2 above the federal minimum wage based on circumstances, and you have a chance to get like 15-30 cents raise maybe or what ever. Tonight was a huge straw and I was seeing red, punching walls, and nearly flipped my vehicle I was so angry. I was scheduled from 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. and then scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and then they had the balls to keep us an hour and a half late.
