Here’s a story about Store 1374
I was hired May of last year. I hadn’t had a job in 6 months and desperately needed a job. At first it was great. My team was great and seemed to be family. Much to my dismay I disliked the way the TL talked to the team members and entitled ladies who worked there for 15-20 years.

Just started two weeks ago and I’m already dead inside. My first shift I wasn’t half fasted trained as cashier because I was the only cashier for the front. I was slow and had a million questions. My second shift I get brought into a hr office and told to sign a paper, red flags went off in my head.

Words cannot describe how ridiculous this job is. Never in my life have i been expected to repeatedly work 12 hour shifts and then get no recognition for it unless i visually look like im about to drop dead. This shit has taken such a toll on my health i actually get sick every few weeks just from exhaustion.

I have worked at target for over a year now. I loved it at first, good starting pay for someone who has never had a real job before. I am a cashier at a super target and I can’t get out of being one, I have asked my ETL to move into soft lines and been lied straight to my face, that there was no position open.

after 13 years of their nonsense. I have been through everything at that den of iniquity–otherwise known as a mall store–and the last straw was yet another injury because it’s the most unsafe job I’ve ever worked. The injury was due to a coworker’s impulsiveness.

Hello everyone, my name is L I’ve been a employee at target for over 2 years. Even now I wonder how I survived so long but forget about that, let me share my story about 2811. I started as a backroom tm making $10.50 back in 2015 , it wasn’t all that bad. I really loved my job and what I did. Hey I even went above and beyond without being told..until I realized management doesn’t give a shit about you, and to them you’re either a “super human or a machine”.

I work at a Super Target. We typically train a decent amount of team members for other stores in our immediate area because they are smaller and slower. Because of this, we never have hours or options for the people who work solely for our store. We can’t hire help, yet we have to train newbies that get shipped off to their respective stores after a few weeks.

On September 8th Christiansburg Target workers were informed that abusive STL Daniel Butler was fired. It took us five days of going on strike and gaining the media spotlight on the issue to finally get results. This was the only the way for us to win our issue. But now we want to fight and make sure our elder workers get seriously-needed healthcare and a living wage. Target brought in 69.4 billion dollars last year. The Target CEO Brian Cornell makes $28.1 million dollars annually, despite only working for the corporation for three years. We have many coworkers who have worked for Target longer than him, and yet they are the ones who have to worry about making ends meet? There’s no justice in that. Take a stand with us. I was hired full time to do a overnight remodel of the Westminster, MD target with the promise that I would be moved the the back room when it’s over. Sure enough as soon as the remodel was done I wasn’t on the schedule anymore. When I asked why they told me that my school schedule was to blame and that they didn’t have a position for me after the remodel. I feel used, I could have gotten a job elsewhere and they hired me under false pretenses. Don’t work for this target. Go to Walmart.

I recently ordered an item for a relative’s wedding. She lives halfway across the country from me. I chose the option to have the item delivered. A week or so later, I got a message saying that it was not delivered and suggested it had been damaged(?). However, when I tried to chat with one of their service representatives, he told me that even though it had a delivery option, it was not available for delivery and the “system overrode” my order. Neither she nor I live close to a Target. and of course I didn’t get my money back, I got a store credit which is essentially useless. AAAAAARRGH!!!!
