I have long been gone from target. Two months out of target wooo!!! But a lot of my friends still work for target so I get the latest gossip and of course I come here to share it so here’s a story.
TL we will call her Aly. Great team lead always got everything done no matter how bad it was. She started as a team member then moved up to TL. She was always cool till she became a TL. The ETL over softlines basically fed her bullshit and turned her into a really rude person.

(3) So I was told my store and district was one of the few going through this test so this might spread elsewhere. If you work Flow team and Pog team you might want to read. Both teams are being removed. The team members on both teams are being moved to sales floor. Here’s the kicker. Those former team members Now will be coming in at 6 and 8 am depending on your department.

So I was in a nearby football stadium to where my location sensor on Facebook said Mansfield (location of my target) went to go watch my sisters rotc event. When some lady in a parking lot almost hits me because a she’s on her phone. (Again I’m not at target)
Likes(12)Dislikes(3) So my backroom TL keeps me and other backroom team in a group chat of texts. And occasionally exchanges the funny stuff that happens. And he got me some of the best thing to happen. So Backroom etl is unloading the FDC truck and asks the grocery ETL to come to the back and give her a hand. This answer has to go down as the one of the most LMAO answers of all time.
Likes(10)Dislikes(9) OMG I can’t believe this. So on one aisle of frozen on the sales floor the freezers are leaking from the bottom. Now I didn’t know this until this moment happens.
I’m walking back from my break when I walk past the aisle I mentioned above and this lady stops me and asks me to follow her. She tells me the floor is wet and her son had just slipped on it.
Likes(10)Dislikes(2) I was a little late on posting but past 4th of July my shift was cut. So that same day I made plans to go hang out with the family somewhere. So I’m woken up by a phone call from my target and the call to my suprise is them asking me to come in. OMG I was laughing so hard on the phone that I had to hold back. So when I cake to my senses I told them I can’t because I’ve made other plans since I was informed the night prior my shift had been cut. So she says that’s fine enjoy your day and we hang up.
Likes(22)Dislikes(1) So our normal manager is out with a shoulder surgery and he’s been out for 3 months. I don’t care what anyone says he is a damn good manager and deserves to work in a better place to target. Even though I get mad at him he does just sit in his office he actually helps out on the floor. He worked his way up from cart attendant to manager.
Likes(14)Dislikes(3) So check this out. I’ve had to come back to target full time since my auto job fired me. So I’ve been covering a lot of shifts for my coworker since he’s been really burnt out. So it’s Monday a day off for me and I’m chilling at home playing Xbox when a friend of mine in early mornings asks why I’m not here yet? That everyone’s been looking for me. I’m not sure why since it’s an offday. Apparently everyone thinks I’m suppose to be covering for my same coworker. And I tell him I didn’t fill out a swap shift so I am not suppose to come in.
Likes(13)Dislikes(8) So I got a new job as a lube tech for clay cooley chrysler but since my uncle got me a job at target I decided I’m gonna help him on Sundays only since the dealership is closed that day. So yeah I get off early Saturday and recently his mom passed away so he’s taking time off to deal with the sadness and plan a service.

One day we checked our schedule and for some reason he got scheduled to close in produce despite never being trained. He asks me to clear it up for him since he had to go pick up his girl. I go to my TL and explain and he says “the etl in that area always does this stupid shit. If she overhears that you worked in that area in the past She takes that as you can cover there” so my team lead goes up to the etl makes and makes her cut that shift. The guy had no way of knowing what to do in that produce area. Had he picked that shift up he would of worked an open in backroom and close in produce??? Like what the fuck.
