Had to delete Facebook cause of managers stalking
Ok so I know the whole social media trend can get you in trouble but this had nothing to do with target. So I was in a nearby football stadium to where my location sensor on Facebook said Mansfield (location of my target) went to go watch my sisters rotc event. When some lady in a parking lot almost hits me because a she’s on her phone. (Again I’m not at target)
So I vent on Facebook about shitty drivers and pay attention to the damn road at all times. The usual
next day my manager calls me in shows me a picture of the post and asks me “do you know what’s wrong here”? I tell him “uh nothing cause this incident doesn’t concern you this what’s somewhere else” then he goes on about blah blah blah our customers are important blah blah blah. I’m trying to figure out who’s the snitch this guy is paying. My Facebook is friend posts only and only friends of my friends can add me. Like wtf

Sounds like somebody is looking to fuck you over.
One of your friends is a mole. Your friends list needs purging. Your manager only knew because a friend on your fb told the manager.
Time to tell that boss bastard this is America, we have freedom of speech and you are not welcome to my facebook. Tell him don't interfere in my life. Also tell not everyone in the whole state knows I work here. If he's stills mad and goes well you can't do that, you just can't you're putting target on the direct now we will not allow that. Tell him read the constitution and go back to work.
Dave once again you speak pure ignorance. freedom of speech means "The right to speak without censorship or restraint by the government." And there are several ways the government can censor as well, but that's an entirely different topic. Companies can tell you how to dress and they most certainly can tell you what you can or cannot say. If you continue do opposite of what they ask regarding speech or your fashion it would be considered representing the company poorly and would be cause for termination. People get fired all the time for speaking out of place. Even more are fired because of dress code violations and knowing you Dave you may struggle to see where that fits into free speech, but it does. I'm sure you're familiar with this quote "A picture is worth a thousand words," well every day you get dressed you are painting a new picture. Most the companies I have worked for made it very clear you're always representing the company wherever you are. I'm certain this includes social media. Finally the majority of states are AT WILL STATES. That means you can be fired with or with out cause. Does that sound like it protects speech? I highly suggest you google (Home Depot fired a employee for refusing to remove a "One nation under God" patriotic button from his work apron) "Because it's a private business, not one that's owned and operated by the government, it doesn't have to operate under the free speech provisions of the First Amendment," Masinter said.
I have a lot of coworkers on social media and I've noticed a lot of vaguebooking and venting. Someone is a rat lol
I kind of hate having everyone on my fb but it's too late now
