Etls are fascinating creatures, they pretend to zone when their not pretending to care what I’m doing. The flow team drive me crazy, they are the reason I hate morning shifts. The creatures of the backroom do not welcome the customer folk and avoid them and their questions. My own job area was cart attendant, and I didn’t know my shit from my oatmeal or where anything was in the store, but I got asked by guests more than sales floor members where shit was.

(4) I decided one day to just visit my old store that I worked at. The brand attendant that I became friends with said that they needed a lot of help and the higher power has been contemplating about reinstating me. There is just one problem to that: didn’t these d-bags wrongfully fire me for “calling a customer a bitch?” The only way I come back is on my four terms:

Likes(51)Dislikes(2) I think it’s safe to say that we all hate the myTime scheduling, and for a wide variety of reasons. For myself, it’s all about not getting enough hours in my primary work center. I’ve been with Target for a number of years, and the past few years I’ve been my store’s signing specialist. Pardon me, signing team member, ever since the company has gotten rid of the specialist title.

Likes(23)Dislikes(5) One evening last week, the Merrifield, VA store had two checkout lines open and about eight to ten people waiting in each, blocking the main aisle. A junior employee decided this was the time to insist that the customers move out of his way so he could push about 30 carts from the front to the back of the store.
I left without my groceries, leaving the cart at the Guest Service desk with a curt explanation, and called the store when I got home.

Likes(14)Dislikes(34) I made a trip to Vancouver Island and visited both Targ stores in Victoria and the one in Nanaimo yesterday and today. I cant believe the emptiness and that each was in a state of redville. And I thought the Vancouver stores were bad. Out of stocks were rampant and store conditions were deplorable (is there a way to attach pictures to this site?). I talked to TM’s and a TL and their response was it was busy last weekend and they hadn’t been able to recover or fill the shelves.
Likes(18)Dislikes(5) I have been working at the Levittown New York target for about two years now. I generally had no complaints until, and this may seem relatively minor, they started cheating me out of meal breaks.
They don’t want you working for six hours without a meal break, as such they encourage you to clock out if you are approaching the 6-hour mark. The ETLs try to either get you to take a longer shift or a shorter shift- whatever it takes so that you don’t get a 45 minute break in a 6 hour shift. Is there some unwritten rule I am missing here? If its a matter of keeping working hours between clock in- break and clock out equal, I can do that for you!
Likes(18)Dislikes(9) we have this ETL who is damn near 100 years old (lmao shes proably 50 comething) anyways she is the straight devil.. she talks down to you like she is your queen and like youre a piece of shit.. she yells and argues with team members over the walkie while everyone can hear, like how unproffessional. she talks shit about her employees and expects you to greet her each time you see her.
