Target Sucks - We Hate Target and We Know We're Not Alone.

  • Managers aren’t managers they are “leaders” and write ups are Corrective Actions. EVEYTHING is such BS! The names they give to everything might be different but they don’t handle shit any better.

    Ever had a ETL ride your teams ass?

    So I’ve been working at this specific store for almost a full year, I was hired in from being only seasonal during our Back To School season and at the start it was everything I wanted in a job to support me through college.

    My fault how…?

    So the other day I hear a rumor about a fellow team member. I decide to see how they are taking it only to find out that they are handling it really rough. Worried that they may need to talk to someone, I discuss it with my HR ETL, only to find out the next day that the team member has filed a safety plan against me for a restraining order at my HR ETL’s recommendation… How the hell is that my fault?

  • Okay so I’ve worked at target for about four months and at first it felt like a family like the GSA’s and GSTL cared but that shits a fucking joke. I started as a cashier like every single person who works at target and i enjoyed it, i got red cards at least 5 every week. Then we lost a cart attendant and then one quit so they decided since i was a guy i could do slave labor for insulting amounts of money.

    Target = Retail’s 7th gate of hell.

    Okay folks, before I begin my run down of how shitty a store my Target was, just to give you a little background info on myself, I’m 19 years old, Fresh out of High School, looking for a job that would supply my needs, I decided to target, and it all went downhill the day I was hired.

  • I was hired immediately after I applied. Literally the day after I sent my application to them online, I was called for an interview (I expect because of the high turnover rate). I both verbally acknowledged to the HR rep, a TL, and an LOD that I was applying for a part-time position and wanted to work no more than twenty-five hours max, as well as having written that in my availability sheets (I’m currently in college).

    Cartwheel & Guests

    Okay so out of all the things target promotes, I think cartwheel is the most convenient in my opinion. EXCEPT  when guests come through my line and try to check things last minute.

    Because I work here

    Because I work here, I am stressed out. Because I work here, any accomplishments are temporary and short-lived. Because I work here, the rent on my crappy studio apartment is 68% of my net income. Because I work here, I am poor.

  • I worked at target and did the carts. Worst idea in the world, people don’t do that to your life, you are better off being broke. The team member constantly annoy the shit out of you over the walkie and they expect you to do everything.

  • I have a symptom of sleep disorder.  No doctor has ever found the reason why I am so tired all the time.  I call into my job maybe twice a month because I’m just too tired to be moving everyday.  Leader ETL talks to me for 20 minutes today.
