TARGET IS PROBABLY NUMBER 1 ON THE MOST SHITTIEST JOBS LIST
I worked at target and did the carts. Worst idea in the world, people don’t do that to your life, you are better off being broke. The team member constantly annoy the shit out of you over the walkie and they expect you to do everything. I got carts, they want you to check the restroom, go around the entire store and get lose carts, vacuum, put back hand baskets, jump on cash register, and on and on. I’m so glad i quit that dumb, one day they tried to get me to clean up womens restroom toilet because some lady had diharea and crapped over multiple toilets. Like i’m not a janitor i dont clean toilets and i wasnt about to wipe up some one elses feces so I got the mop and mopped the toilet. LOD’s are a pain in the ass always bugging everyone and never let them do their jobs. Then after holidays its only 2 cashiers the entire day, so who do they call? the Cart attendant and then you never finish carts because its always you stuck on the register. They need to hire more workers instead of doing hour cuts. everyone’s hours were dropping under 20 and some people only worked like1 day a week. 50% if the employees quit in the past 2 months and I’m glad one is me because target fucking sucks. Cart attendant only got paid $9 to kill themselves doing bullshit all day.

The cart attendants job is to clean the washroom as well. It's in the job description. Even in a unionized environment, that is part of your job description. Stop whinging and do your job.
You're an idiot.
As a cart attendant myself, I will gladly mop and sweep the restroom floors but I will NOT unclog, or otherwise stick my hands anywhere near the rim or inside rim of the toilet. That's the PMT's job. If some fucking genius decides to clog the toilet with a handful or toilet seat covers and what seems like 2 complete rolls of papers, I just slap a "out of service" sign on that bitch and move on.
Yup, that's what my target does. I'm just a cashier and sometimes cart attendant but if theres a big problem of any kind the cart attendant covers the toilet in plastic and has a sign on it out of order. Than some other time a hardware guy comes in.
