Helga and I started in our new positions on the same day. I’m the HR TM. I’m not actually new to the position, just to this store. I took a brief hiatus from Tarshit (why did I go back???) and did GM at my new store until the old HR TM left and I applied for her job and got it.
So Helga and I start on the same day. A fresh new start, right? I’m sure this new ETL HR will be just as awesome as my old HR TL and everything will go swimmingly, right?

The Price Change Lady
As we all know at Target cashiers or “checkout advocates” as they’re now called are given the authority to override price changes that are within $20. That is as long as they are deemed reasonable. As you can imagine this leads to some people abusing the system. But the person I will describe here took it to an entirely different level. So gather round folks and grab some popcorn as I regale you all with a tale. A tale of someone’s who’s cheapness is matched only by her ratchetness.

Advertised price 20% off. I scanned and my items were not sale price. I asked and was told the sign says you must use the app.
Wrong, sign says message and data rates apply. Sign topper says cartwheel.
Signs do not say you must download an app, then have the Target store scan a bar code on your phone. Just another way to steal your personal information and false advertisement. I refuse to purchase anything from Target again. I will shop at CVS, Walmart, Rite Aid but not Target. The excuses I was told make no sense. Target, you screwed up.
Likes(14)Dislikes(24) They offer 20% off entire store purchases over $50, but when you pay at register you get a coupon for 20% off all purchases starting 11/28-12/10. They get people to purchase a lot of items for black friday only to let them save 20% later when they purchase much less!
Likes(12)Dislikes(25) I recently ordered an item for a relative’s wedding. She lives halfway across the country from me. I chose the option to have the item delivered. A week or so later, I got a message saying that it was not delivered and suggested it had been damaged(?). However, when I tried to chat with one of their service representatives, he told me that even though it had a delivery option, it was not available for delivery and the “system overrode” my order. Neither she nor I live close to a Target. and of course I didn’t get my money back, I got a store credit which is essentially useless. AAAAAARRGH!!!!

My name is Insert name here and i was a softlines team member but i got switched to hardlines and I thought I would be free and feel relaxed. But as my three months ended I started to feel physically and emotionly drained. I tried to be positive but I can’t anymore.

So, here’s my spiel…Hi, will this be on your RedCard today, “no”….Would you like to apply and save fucking (just kidding) 5% today and every time you shop” Guest…”NO”, That’s fine, your total is….
