I hate it! I hate it! I hate it! I hate it when Target hires new cashiers and sales floor team and rush train train them leaving them to fail. I hate it. I hate it when Target puts a new ETL G.E in place and they do not know how to help a guest sign up on the register for a red card! Are you fucking kidding me? I hate how the cart attendants get overused and abuse and tossed around especially during summer time and all the etl’s must think they are too grand to help out cleaning the rest rooms. I hate it when hard working and productive team members get overlooked around review time but the lazy ass kissers get the better raises. I hate it when Target demonizes, harrasses and stresses out its team members with the red card card but they are always an epic fail when it comes to fixing the bad morale in their stores.

I’ve been working for Target for two years now.
I’m actually happy to report that some things have gotten better. And, well, some things have gotten worse. But that’s Target for ya, huh?

Constant people, constant jackasses about no it said buy one get a $5 dollar gift card. No, I checked, zapped the item twice to check for them, red card screen comes up. Don’t believe me, GSTL tells them exact same thing cause that is the truth, buy two of this, get a $5 gift card. Holly snaps man, it’s so hard for these crack people to believe the truth, especially when they don’t read that small print.

Likes(1)Dislikes(0) Every year review scores are initially decided upon and agreed upon for the team members by the team leads, hr and respective etls only to be unfairly changed later because of some financial metric that each store is allowed. Bullshit. That is to say if a team member was initially scored an EX for Excellent and then changed to an E for Effective or IE to Inconsistently Effective then the team leads are forced to write an unfair review for that team team who deserves or who is actually an EXCELLENT PERFORMER. That remains one of the constant and corruption that is Target. Certain stl’s are overpaid and spend far less time in the stores which makes you wonder what is really going on since they do not punch a time clock. Target needs to reduce their salaries and share it with the rest of the team members and leaders on duty who truly deserve it. Just saying.

It was well below minimum wage. By her reluctance to tell me this, I could see most people were turning the job down and probably walking out of the interview. I’m a young college student at this point. I just need something while I’m in college.
My friend worked at the store as a career. He was there five years. This is a guy that never called in sick. Never took a day off. Yet, when promotion came up he was always over looked for a new jack. I knew instantly that there was no way in hell I would ever amount to anything working at this place if my friend’s perfect record and stellar work ethic was considered jack shit to Target.

The bull shit is I had back problems that started my bad work ethics n they new that yet that gets btought up, ok even still I am one of the few who has a normal set schedule so when they change it all up on me one day I got a no call no show n another I was an hour late. And they sure want me to come in on a day off and worj late to make up for it but it doesn’t mean shit because they still hold it against you. I have been with this shameful company with dishonest practices for 4.5 years. I have been harassed, bullied, stalked, belittled, and treated like straight up shit for trying to do whats right and fair. My STL is a bitch and she needs to work around the store more to burn off some extra hundred pounds or more. The ETL-LOG is a cunt for the most part who tries to sleep with team members and gossip about others just to start shit. She also is a back stabbing lying fuck tard who will actively insult someone for trying to be nice. ETL-HR is a waste of “resources” because he has never worked HR before and won’t grow a set to help out the “team”. ETL-Hardlines is fresh out of college, which his father is an STL so go figure he got the job, wants to fuck all the slutty girls but wants they bring him drama he tells them to get back to work and that he is busy.
