(1) At my Target store they dont have the swap shift board posted up, you have to ask someone for it and to swap a shift you have to have the person youre swapping with with you and you both have to sign off on it in the presence of an LOD thrn they sign off on it.

Likes(33)Dislikes(8) I have a symptom of sleep disorder. No doctor has ever found the reason why I am so tired all the time. I call into my job maybe twice a month because I’m just too tired to be moving everyday. Leader ETL talks to me for 20 minutes today.
Likes(8)Dislikes(17) Why? Well because I’ll be moving and I don’t drive because of health reasons I have. I’ve been working for Target for over 6 years now. As usual for most people it started out good years ago when I started and then turned into shit. I’ve also had a lot of bad health problems of new brain tumor benign and hearing loss but not deaf while working at Target. I also hate how the GSTLs always go did you ask for red card, always ask for red card every guest. But I’m so use to the job that leaving is like ah crap now I have to learn something new at a new job I have to find. I am getting a hearing aid tomorrow but as I’ve said I got so use to the job it’s gonna be hard moving on to another job. I’ll be overall glad to quit though as GSTLs crap, guest crap on coupons no no why can’t I use more, you messed up on my Wic check, blah blah. You didn’t get the right stuff or you didn’t put the right stuff in the forward position so I could see it to put it on the WIC check you poor sap! I might have to get SSD or SSI anyway with my tumor and ear problem, I can only hear out of one ear and now I have tinnitus plus the loss of hearing so the hearing aid won’t do much help but some. Overall I posted this to say fuck Target I’ll soon be quitting after I return next week of getting my hearing aid.

Rather than going through the list of issues and problems I’ve dealt with, I will spare you the details because it would be quite lengthy. However, I wanted to post here and see if anyone has any ideas about some survey I had to take. So I’ll start here..
Likes(13)Dislikes(2) So I have now worked at two targets (transferred from the last store I was at because I finished university and the job market where I live is generally shitty, and seeing as a new target was just opening up, it seemed to be a good idea/fresh start). Anyways, I fucking hate target. My last store before I was transferred gave me 4 hour Shifts a week and played favourites with some pretty incompetent employees. The new store I’m at has been okay with hours, for now (though they keep fucking with my schedule, more on that later) and like my last store The TLs, ETLS and even STLs have no idea what the fuck they are doing, one ETL at my new store even compared not wearing a name tag on the sales floor to “going into Afghanistan without a gun” I wish I was fucking joking.(he said this at morning huddle)

I was always brought up to stick to a job until something came along, as much as I hated that place, I was loyal to them for nearly 8 years. I tried a few times to jump ship but I never managed to get on anywhere else mostly due to being a college student.

So I’ve worked at Target for about A year and 8 months or so. Well what can I say I started as a Sales floor TM and electronics TM. Well throughout my whole year I was never schudeled for an electronics shift until after my first year the two times I was scheduled was on low and behold Black Friday and the day the PS4 came out. Throughout that year I made friends with a lot of the team member all cool people. I also started to notice this guy that worked electronics was a total douche bag who thought he was above everyone else cuz his brother was dating the HR ETL’s sister. He said he would get fired cuz he has immunity. That dumbass never did anything he would always be far away from the boat never answer the phone always would flirt with any girl that was there and would leave an effin mess at the boat ALL THE TIME!!! The Senior Team Lead was a bit of a jerk as well always had someone else do his job that he couldn’t finish which was up to douchbag guy to do it. Which he was basically his bitch. Haha
Likes(16)Dislikes(20) I applied for a customer service position with target, once I got the job I was told during orientation I was actually in the grocery department, It didn’t really bother me because I knew I could possibly work my way to a different position. What I wasn’t told was I was actually the “grocery specialist” and that came with a lot of hours and responsibilities., 28 aisles all to myself. First off, I wasn’t trained or even shown how to use equipment, I was thrown with another employee and told to “shadow” them which I found was to be very annoying to the other employee.
