Target corporate, I hate thee because:
1. I spend too much time thinking, worrying and perseverating over a job that does not, think, worry or care a shred for any of its employees.

Likes(19)Dislikes(5) (Long post ahead) I’ve put in my good 4 years at Target (well, 3 years 9 months) and safe to say I regret giving my time to such an incompetent store and company. I finally could not take it anymore and put in my two weeks, I am taking the promotion to guest. Today was my last day, these are just some of the things myself and others around me have experienced and expressed.
Likes(23)Dislikes(7) Have any other stores eliminated the morning cart attendant? My store has slowly chipped away and pushed the closing attendant to be the only scheduled usually starting at 3. So until I clock in, the restrooms are untouched, the garbage just piles up, the lot becomes a mess, and the PMT leaves before I even walk in.

I will address these hazards by relating the following incidents and offer possible remedies. The managers often just throw an inexperienced employee on the unload line with no training or instructions on how to deal with these problems.

Despite having tendered my resignation last week, I reached my breaking point last night. Things have gotten so bad I can’t even make it through another week, and I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Likes(19)Dislikes(1) I was working service desk 4-6tonight and at some point when the GSA was back there I asked her to get me $20s and $10s I hadn’t gotten a chance to request yet. She did so and as soon as I was done with the transaction I requested it, added it to my drawer and told the computer add money. Pretty standard. 10pm rolls around and the GSA goes ” hey, what happened to the money I gave you earlier?” I told her I put it in the drawer and requested it. ” So what happened to it?The draw is out of $10s and $20s” in a fairly accusatory tone.

I been reading alot of post for at least 3 years now. Thats how long ive been working at target. I dont remember how this site came to my attention. But its been great & truth to me. Like, a bible for Target and what to look out for. Almost everything has come to pass.

First our HR lady screwed over my training schedule. After a week or so my shifts completely changed and I wasn’t even fully trained.
