I’ve been looking at this site for a while now but I’ve never posted anything. I’ve worked at target for half a year, and my husband has worked at the same store location for almost 2 years. More power to him because I’m currently trying to get out of this hell hole. Today pretty much iced my cake though.

from the store and human resources team lead on down to senior team leads is like a big fraternity. Heck even some of the sales associates who have been there or at other retail places will act as if they know everything.
Likes(43)Dislikes(6) There have been a number of stores that have had sex sounds play over the intercom and its been hilarious. I wish I could see all the upper assholes running around trying to figure out whats going on. My own store had someone yell out racial slurs over the walkies and they still have no idea whats going on. Love to see them confused. I just wish I was working that day to see their faces. Obviously the racial slurs bit is no joke but it is fun to laugh at the management having no idea what to do.

I should’ve known from the start that working at this Target would be horrible. Let me start off with saying that they don’t pay you nearly enough (yet they give away gift cards like their souls depend on it) to put up with the amount of stuff that they put you through.

I work sales floor (HL) truly do dread this place but who cares it’s just a job I really don’t care if I am there . I’m coming up on my 90 day probation period and I just get a feeling I won’t be kept. I have NOT been disciplined or talked to in any way.

I am a senior in highschool so I have a lot of stress on my plate with applications, college tours, volunteering etc. The way my schedule is looking, I will have to request every Friday Saturday off until Feburary. I gave my lod a copy of my schedule and he said “we’ll try but no guarantees”. In addition, my aunt who is getting more and more sick from Multiple Sclerosis, asked if we can have a family reunion the week of thanksgiving. I put in the request back in June to have that week off , it was denied.
