Target Sucks - We Hate Target and We Know We're Not Alone.

My store is full of ASSHOLES!!!!! I HATE it there!!!!

I started working at Target in the Littleton area about three months ago and I am going to put in my two weeks notice tomorrow. I cannot stand these ungrateful assholes any longer. First, I always get shitty hours. Second, I cannot stand the lack of communication that there is within the damn store. For example, one manager will tell me to do something and the other will tell me not to. Another example is, we have a manager and they brought in another manager to work with her and I was never told this person was my manager. Long story short, I thought this second manager was just being bossy just to be a bitch and I told her she wasn’t my boss and it turns out she is and I got in trouble. Second, I work Food Ave and that is where I am supposed to stay, yet, I have to cover people at Starbucks at the same time. Now, that is not that hard part, the hard part is when I have customers on both sides and then the LOD yells at me for not doing my job fast enough and for not attending the guests. I am doing the job of four people so I would think these assholes more patient and more understanding of me. Also, even though I know I have improved my work (cleaning, closing, opening etc), these fucking people are never satisfied. My co-workers tell me that I am doing a great job and a better job than most but these other people are just being bitches. Oh, and the other day, they had me close Starbucks all by myself for the first time period and I was so worried about doing a perfect closing that I forgot to take a lunch. I got in trouble and I was told I could get fired for that. Now, I am also on the chopping block because I told a customer that I did not know how to make the drinks that she was ordering yet. She was cool, she told me she was not mad at meĀ  but that she was going to yell at my managers for leaving to do that without being fully trained. Instead of my managers taking responsibility for that themselves, they yelled at me for telling the lady I did not know how to make the drinks (the recipe book was gone). For the pay rate, this bullshit is just not worth it. I never win; if I get done before closing, I get yelled at for being in a rush, if I get done by 9, I get yelled at for being too slow. Also, my manager cussed out an employee once in front of customers and the other in front of just employees. My manager could give two shits about our safety, she expected me to carry burning hot plates and start putting them to wash and she wanted to me clean the oven while it was still hot. This is by far the MOST unprofessional place to work at and I am glad I am leaving. I for one cannot understand how my co-workers have managed to deal with all of the fucken bullshit that I have been dealing with over the past three fucken months. Good fucken riddance, Target, I will miss you…NOT!!!!! To anyone reading this or any other comment, save yourself and do not work for this fucken company. Praise the day when I no longer have to hear the fucken walkies. Also, while I was getting yelled at in my manager’s office, he decided to take a walkie talk…are you fucken kidding me?!?!?! How unprofessional!!! Ok, end of rant lol.

    after being yelled at by that nice lady customer of yours, your managers decided to take out her ranting on you. Sad but seems to be the case. next time that happens tell the customer not to bother and the managers will only take it out on you. Instead tell her to report target starbucks to starbucks corporate. Also, it's against starbucks rules to close by yourself. Should report that to starbucks corporate as well.

    It's too late cause I already quit. What's funny is that I found out I was supposed to get fired the day I quit lol. I didn't know that people weren't allowed to close Starbucks by themselves though. How do you know this? How do I report to Starbucks corporate?

      I was told this by a starbucks member working at starbucks corporate. And it's posted somewhere on this blog as well.

      There should be some way to contact starbucks corporate on their website somewhere.

    Thank you guys so much! I still talk to some people there and because they've hired new people at Starbucks, I'll have to ask them if they are still opening and closing on their own. I have a feeling there are people still opening and closing on their own. Thank you so much for the e-mail, I greatly appreciate it and I am e-mailing them right now :). What can happen to Target if this is taken seriously?

    Who knows, if enough people email starbucks corporate maybe they'll do some investigating and revoke their licensing?
