This is how 99% of OPUs for furniture/cabinets go
I’m getting really tired of guests complaining about items they’re ordering not being in absolutely perfect condition. This is why you should do your own shopping so your lazy ass can inspect it yourself. What follows is the usual conversation that follow an order pickup up for most large furniture or cabinetry.
Guest: Can I get a different one? This one has a small barely visible to the naked eye mark on it that you need an electron microscope zoomed in at 10,000 times to see. And if you squint your eyes and turn your head to the side while standing on one leg youll also notice that there is a ding right here. This is just not acceptable. I need it to be in pristine condition.
They ALL look like that because they come off the floor where people shop and look at it mamm. None of them are in flawless pristine condition.
Well can you see if there are some in back?
It’s a large item mamm they make it a point not to keep a lot of big furniture items in stock were not a warehouse. The one you have was the last one.
Guest: WELL I’ll just take my business elsewhere then.
Me: We can offer a discount on it.
Guest: how much?
Guest: *scoffs* THATS it?
Me: it’s barely damaged mamm.
Guest: This is poor customer service. I’m never shopping here again.
Me: um…Okay? Bye Felicia.
