Target Mobile – stories from the inside
They’re jealous because we’re an oasis of calm in their shitstorm. They need us because we’re the only people actually given enough time to do anything positive for guest experience. And they hate us because we make far more than the team members and most of the TLs.
We are Target Mobile. We are just as sick of Target’s bullshit as our friends in red. And the hatred from within Target is even worse.
LOD? More like lol. Maybe half can print a rain check without help. Just getting pens and rubber bands takes weeks. (Same with ink and paper) Some TLs refer to us as T-Mobile. And God forbid I need someone to help with calming down an angry guest.
Twenty minutes after the call they’ll show up, pretend to listen and then deliver the same canned speech about how mobile and Target are different and they can’t do anything. While this happens, echoes of the store manager telling us at huddle to do everything for the guest bounce through my head.
I make guests happy. It’s what I do and I don’t mind because when I step inside Target I leave my ego outside. It’s just about the guests. Because I get paid fairly and have regular hours and am respected by my management when it comes to schedule changes, it works.
Target should try that.

I think they're pissed because they can't do anything to you.
I love the Target Mobile people. They are always so happy, They also will do like 80% of Electronics job because we can never just help guests around the boat. We must be zoning and so on, so Target Mobile constantly ringa people up.and assists guests of where things are. I also would love to.get that job in my store it would be so funny. I can just sit there sell phones and have a blast doing it.
And they can't get mad at you for being happy go lucky. 🙂
If you learn the program and learn to deal with idiot people it's waaaaay better than working for the Target Store. Pay can be the same if not a little better but it's consistent and you don't get screwed on your hours.

It took one of our ETLs two months to order replacement priority and backstock clips for the backroom. When we finally got them in it turns out he ordered pull and price change clips. They're a bunch of fucking idiots, I swear.
If Target wanted their stores to function they wouldn't put idiots in charge.
so let me get this straight, some tls can't tell the difference between the target mvno (basically buying minutes from a carrier with it's own network and spectrum and reselling them ) and the t-mobile carrier that has it's own towers and own network. And is Wind Mobile Canada's roaming partner in the states. >_> no wonder they had a data breach.
just took a peek at target mobile. Target mobile isn't even a mvno. Tt's really a dealership like those car dealerhips selling plans from the multiple carriers spanning the nation. AT&t, Sprint and Verizon contracts down in the states. Big 3 and flanker brands and their various plans in canada. So now it becomes even more funny. Can't tell between a "car" phone and/or plan dealership and a real carrier.
I also work for Target mobile and although it can be fun its not without its faults. This post sounded like its coming from a manager because of how he mentions he gets paid more than tl ect... I myself am not and I can tell you that I get paid just over minimum wage and had my hours cut from 32 to 12 so Its not all fun and games:/
I have worked at this hell hole for 2 years, in electronics with the awesome mobile people. They help me so much back there, I don't know what I'd do without them. Do the LODs care? Hell no. They treat them like complete dirt. They treat them worse than us - which is terrible in the first place. Is there anyone that likes working at Target?
