Finally out!
Gosh where do I start? I only worked at target about two months and it was miserable. The politics where that of high school and everything I read here was accurate. I’m in a long distance relationship and after discussing it with my girlfriend we agreed I’d stay till I found work elsewhere. That didn’t happen however as that very same day I went in and was again judged for following right procedures. For example not only pastries weren’t dated but ones near them were expired so I was going to throw them out. But Target? They believe in putting them out anyway regardless of health risks. Additionally in my time there I was told to sign for temperature logs that we’re missing in the book despite I may not have even been scheduled that day. All this just to avoid a bad rating. The health department needs to be called. The fire Department too since they always block the exits in the team member only area.
Anyway, since quitting my life has been so much more positive 🙂 despite not having a job I’m moving to be with my girlfriend and advancing in life 🙂 I hope every potential employee stumbles upon this site

You should celebrate! The day you quit Target should be viewed as a holiday. You are onto bigger and better things. Fuck that chump palace!
hmm expired pastries, I guess that explains why dtlhater reports finding expired grocery product in quite a few vancouver area target stores.
Good for you! I was waiting to find other emoyment before leaving, but in the end I couldn't stand to be there through another Q-4. I put my two weeks notice this week. My last day is Halloween and I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Good luck to you 🙂
