Another Reason I HATE This Place…
So I am still within my 90 days and today I went in after calling out with the flu the other day. (Thanks, Target for pretty much bullying me into getting one of your flu shots by the way!) The day I call out, my TL calls me wanting me to switch shifts for today. I didn’t answer because in my opinion vomiting while on the phone is rude. Then again, she would have deserved it. The next day, one of my days off, I call in and let her know that sure, I’ll switch my closing shift for an opening shift.
When I get to work today, still feeling nauseated and just full of ickiness, I find out that this dumb blonde TL didn’t freaking schedule ANYONE else. There isn’t a single person in the store who can cover any of my breaks or lunch. Oh, and that there was a good chance they would need me to work 7:30a-9:30p. I’m like “Uhh no, go fuck yourself.” But politely, of course.

I don't know what state you are in, but in my state of MN, you can work however long they allow you, but anything 11 hours or more has 3, 15 minute breaks and 2 half hour breaks. Overall, you do not have to stay though when you are not scheduled that way and nobody is. Stay for the time you wanted and than just sign out. Never be afraid of being fired, be proud that you are telling complete truth and be proud that they are extreme lying idiots who deserve the death penalty under law jurisdiction.
Sounds like you're blaming the vaccine for you getting the flu. You can't get the flu from a vaccine. Just saying.
But according to Jenny McCarthy you can get autism.
It sounds like I'm going with the facts: every time I have gotten a flu shot, I have gotten the flu. It contains part of the flu virus, just saying.
I never get Targets flu vaccine. I only get the cold during Summer, and it only lasts a week. The TM will mention the flu shot to me and I ignore it politely. I say stay away from the vaccine if you get sick from it.
techically you are getting the flu from the vaccine. You are just getting a dead version of the flu so you are immunized against it when you get a live version of it. So maybe you accidentally got a live version instead of a dead version
Chances are, you got the shot too late and had already picked up the virus from another source. Ie; money handling, touching carts, or anything that you do in your day to day life.
