15 hours. Seriously??
I’ve been working at Target now for about 5 months now. I was hired as a seasonal team member but then they kept me and offered me a permanent job after it. I thought maybe Target is a good place to work for, it’s an awesome place to shop blah blah, haha. At first when I started, I didn’t notice a lot of the discrepancies I see now. Lazy ass workers, bitch ass LOD’s, stupid rules like covering the diamonds of the shelf. Are you fucking kidding me? Haha. So I remember a dumbass LOD telling me when I was zoning ” Covering the diamonds are the most important Thing a guest is gonna look at first when coming to buy something.” Haha bullshit!! I thought In my head haha. It’s a disgrace not being able to work more hours, it’s a disgrace how target cuts it’s hours from its workers to save money for the 4th quarter. How the hell are people who are working there gonna survive off of 15 hours a week?? Some people have mortgages, or rent and kids and with those hours the company expects people to love off of. It’s a disgrace. I hate how there’s so many bosses. Everyday or week there’s different ones. Wtf is the point of that. I like a few bosses and my team lead one of them. She’s super chill. The bosses I like and my supervisor are cool because they actually help us work and are understanding of how busy it can get which makes it difficult to zone, the others act like they’re so perfect that there shit don’t stink. Literally they do. It makes me wanna call them out and be like your a fucking idiot. They don’t have to worry about shit, they have salaries and arent paid hourly like us. It’s gay. I highly wouldn’t recommend this job, I’d speak to an actual employee first about it. I wish I would have done that first. Oh and the motto of one of my co workers here is “another day another penny”. Get it? Because of the wages haha. Bullshit hahahaha

Not surprising. Ive been at that shit hole since last May was hired as "full time" although I have only ONE TIME received anywhere close to full time hours in a week(32). The week before last the LODVDAHOLE said he was "warning us" that Hardlines was only given 50 hours for the whole team, which broke down to me a getting a 5.5 hour shift for a whole week. I pointed it out to him that its funny how we hear all the time "we are number one in (blank) in the district" and that's how we get treated. I wouldn't be here if I didn't have to be but this "economic recovery" isn't panning out here in the real world. Fuck this place the ETL's get about 48k a year while we are eating ramen noodles and saving pennies
I was getting about 15 hours a week or less; I honestly didn't mind at the time the only thing I did was being treated like crap so I quit on their asses TWICE.

Target's whole "expect more.pay less." Slogan really means "expect more (from our workers ) pay (them) less and l.o.d. Stands for l.o.doushe bag.
And I'm so tired of hearing "we were up 10000 last week but we still gotta cut hours and then I get as many hours as someone who never gets red cards and calls in every week
Yeah it's a fucking disgrace for the company to be this shitty with it's workers, like 15 hours a week, about nearly 200 dollars every two weeks is so bullshit. It's a disgrace guys, I wonder if these fucking corporate assholes actually know about this website. I'd love to have them read our posts. I'd quit this job but for now it's better than not having a job
The whole cutting hours thing is bullshit. Through January, the overnight team would be sent home at 6-6:30am even if we were nowhere near finished with the truck, and the last friday of Jan they only scheduled 4 people, and we were just backroom. So we had to do the pulls, work them, and work FDC by ourselves, and they still sent us home at 5 am even though we didn't even get through two flats of frozen. Our team leads stayed to finish. I felt bad for them.
Been there, quit that. I worked Target at the same time as another job, and I was better off working just the other job.
They are only giving you part time hours because they don't want to pay for your benefits. Only specialists such as GSA, PA, and some electronics team members get full time hours.
You are just a number to them just like your TM number.
Worst company ever.
