Please help!
Hi I have been working at target for about a year now on the flow team. The past few months I have been taking a lot of harassment from these two girls I unfortunately have to work with. They sit the and call me all kinds of offensive names during huddles and stare and giggle at me and they have even got other team members to join in on it before. I am not the only person these girls target either. What should I do? Targets harassment policy is very strict. They create a uncomfortable work enviroment for me and it gives me so much anxiety that I sometimes have to go home early because I can no longer work. Any ideas?

Talk to your LOD, she's trained to handle these kind of situations. LOL JUST KIDDING.
Sadly with a company as corrupt as Tarshit your only option for handling asshole teammates is to make shit up on the hotline. Call the hotline and say these two team members are making death threats and that you can't go to store management about it because they're in on it too. "I t-told my L-L-LOD that they said they were gonna wait for me to go to my car tonight and jump me and my LOD was like okay I'll handle it and NOTHING HAPPENED." Maybe throw in something like.. "I'm thinking about suing Target for all my emotional turmoil." Lawsuits get their attention.
If that doesn't work then try transferring stores, and if you can't transfer stores then just quit. Best of luck, Targetguy189.
Sadly, there is very little you can officially do. find a decent way to let these abusive TM';s know that you aren't going to put up with their stuff, (tarshit, reminds me of a big giant high school atmosphere every day). or maybe make up your own names back at them. Keep it HR friendly, though if you can.
I know it seems like a bad/pointless idea, but talk to HR and get their response. If that doesn't work, submit a report online and encourage others who were harassed to do so as well:

I'm only suggesting this because two of the TLs at my store are actually under investigation now after I suggested the site to several of my coworkers.
Get a notebook and write down what they say. If you are a strong enough person, do it during the huddle and ask them to repeat what they said so you don't get it wrong. Or tell them you are recording what they say. If you tell them you are recording them, then it's legal. I would also file a formal complaint with hr and also ap.
The more you have in writing, the better leg you have to stand on.
Also contact the website that another person mentioned.
Harassment of any type should never be tolerated. At work or school or play.
You are being bullied, and that is not acceptable anywhere.
Another thing you can do is ask them what you have done to them that they are treating you in the manner they are treating you. Ask them if you have ever been mean to them. When I have kids do that, the bullying sometimes stops. There are times that people don't realize how much their comments can hurt others until it is point blank brought to their attention.

That's a good idea- use the Voice Record option available on your phone (if it is available). Be sure you tell them you are recording otherwise it's illegal (in most states) and it'll backfire on you.
If it's not available on your phone then you can pick up a little $30.00 audio recording device, probably Target sells one, and slip it in your pocket, and when you get near them just hit the Record button and act like you usually would.
I know how it feels to be bullied in the workplace, it sucks dick and you feel helpless. But the truth is you don't have to put up with it. There's always options available and people you can talk to- even if you have to go above Tarshit to do so. Don't give up and be sure you get some good evidence because if Tarshit doesn't help you then your next step is to talk to a lawyer.
Target is very afraid of lawsuits. They will listen to you and take the situation "into consideration". They will, also, "investigate" this. If they get either employee to admit to this or if there is some concrete evidence they will act. If it is just your word, nothing will be done. Good luck. Flow team is a nightmare!! Oh, the stories I have about those freaks!
you should be advised it's actually against Target company policy to record. I asked my STL if I could tape record an ETL who had been threatening me and made fun my disabilities. I work at the Target in Milford, CT. Believe me they will do something. The ETL had to leave Target.
did you bother to say anything to your higher ups? Good luck keeping your job if you can't handle this minor thing.
I'm rather confrontational, if this is happening in a huddle I would confront the TL or LOD in charge of the huddle and ask him directly and in front of everyone if he condones this behavior and force him to uphold the non harrasment polices, just keep your cool and don't give in to the temptation to use any offensive language.
