Last time I checked i needed to be scheduled over 6 hours before I was forced to take a lunch due to arbitrary bullshit target “violation laws”.

Recently it was eval time… And my managers made a big deal out of pay raises this time around… Saying that no one ever gets raises like this ever and we should be grateful… blah blah blah…
Likes(9)Dislikes(10) I have worked for target for about 2 1/2 years… I became disillusioned with the place after about 6 months, got grumpy, bitched a bit here and there but just brushed that place off of me when I walked out the door…
I will say that I am rather fortunate by ways of the ETL’s in my store… Yeah target doesn’t train any one for shit and you basically are left to crash and burn but I did and still do have some cool managers that are more than willing to help out… The pay blows for the work I am expected to do all day and that’s shitty but i can pay my bills right now so I guess that’s all that matters…

I’m pretty sure I interviewed well because I was called in for orientation 5 days after my first interview. I was so excited because I had left my previous job to move to fla. with my husband so he could take a promotion. I had been down in the dumps because I missed my old job so much. I worked for a top fortune 500 company for four years and thought well hey I love shopping at target so why not get paid to do what love anyways right?
It look me about three weeks to realize that target is a fucking bullshit corporation.
