Okay, so here it goes. I have a Senior Team Lead that is absolutely awful to work with. All the other ETLs, SrTL, and TLs are fantastic to work with, but this one in particular is an absolute bitch to work with. Let’s just call this SrTL M. Her behavior on the sales floor is unprofessional and quite infuriating.

I just started a seasonal position in hardlines (I think. They said hardlines but all my training has been in softlines.) I overheard one of my other team members say they minimized the training for seasonal employees, but my training almost seems nonexistent. The only decent training I had was on registrars, and the other trainers just hand me stuff to reshop for them. The day after my first day they had me work a full shift without a trainer, but I was so confused and I honestly didn’t know what I was doing. My other team members always seem annoyed when I ask for help. This is my first job too.

Quick question, do you guys have separate teams for each department? Because I’ve started off on Flow a year ago and I’ve slowly been cross-trained for Market/PFresh, Backroom, Price Change/Accuracy, Signing, Operator, In-Stocks, and Chargebacks. Basically, I start my day on Flow and then my second shift consists of any of the above listed. Every other Target I’ve been to (in CA) has a separate team for each department, I’m honestly confused by it and a little jealous. I HATE working dayside; the dayside TMs have this crazy idea that Flow doesn’t actually do anything so they tend to leave their messes for us the next morning on top of throwing the truck/restocking.
