Seasonal trash
Waking up at 3 am in -10 degree weather is shit enough. But when there’s no one to let you in the building for 30 mins, that’s not cool. But enough about the start of my first day let’s get into the work of it. Being a flow team member on my first day was a world of low effort training and dismissal. I was pawned off on the first lady in line to move boxes. I had to learn what the hell to do myself. Then when we went to market to stock. They gave my training to some crack head looking mother fucker who yelled constantly he himself told me that he’s trained people that would quit imediatley. (I can’t blame them this guy sucked). After about a week of work I was keeping good pace with others. That’s when i met Karen. Karen is a 20 year old girl that can’t go more than 10 minutes without verbally abusing someone or talking about wanting to drink. I learned to tune her out. After about a month I’m just too exhausted of learning everything myself and seeing 1 of my 2 supervisors do nothing but drink coffee and yell at people while lazily pushing pallets. It’s understaffed as fuck plus they cut your hours in half out of no where. Sorry for bad grammar/spelling im on mobile.

Sounds very similar to my experience. Zero training! Terrible ignorant leadership! People calling in constantly! People quitting constantly! Unrealistic expectations! Was never set up for success always set up to fail. Anyone there longer than 6 months was just not intelligent enough to leave.
Say that to my face and not online and see what happens buddy.
Well nothing probably will because I don't care enough to fight about it but honestly in my area theres not alot of jobs especially not alot of jobs that aren't extremely specific like underwater lawyer engineer.
They don't put in alot of effort to train you or even learn your name because of very high turnover.
I was hired as a GSA and it was the same old song and dance but more complicated. Because the rules on what we can return and what not to return change day to day and based on whose lead. But at a not super target there is one GSA per shift and most of the time the TL goes find somewhere to hide or someone to talk to for an hour.
