Target Sucks - We Hate Target and We Know We're Not Alone.

Put on corrective action for having a fucking HEART ATTACK!!!

That’s right. I have a genetic heart defect and over the summer I was suffering from some symptoms of said heart defect. I had a mild “cardiac event” and was put on medication and told I needed surgery. I missed two days of work and didn’t call in because, you know, I was busy having a fucking heart attack. I called as soon as I could to let them know what happened and even brought in documentation as soon as I was out of the hospital. No compassion or concern was expressed by management, but I wasn’t expecting it because Target fucking sucks. What I wasn’t expecting was to be put on corrective action. I guess next time I have a heart attack I’ll make sure to call those assholes BEFORE I call an ambulance. My bad.

There is a solution to this. Confirm this to www.osha.gov and report how you were mistreated by target in that they didn't understand you were under emergency of the heart attack and defect of you heart. If your job does not give you compensation such as doing wrong of the things they did to you, OSHA is a worker enforcment agency of the government, they have the right to conform and act against the target store you work at. This information I found online and at target on one of the boards on the wall. OSHA protects worker compensation that jobs do not follow through with for understanding on how things were happening to you. I would strongly reccomend you do this as this can cause the job to become governmental observed and leaders be led to be fired in any way for there wrong actions upon you.

Thank you for the info I will definitely follow up on this because I really could not believe they acted like this when I had always been given an "excellent" rating prior to missing work because of my hospital stay.
