Not Avalible avalibility
I worked at Target for a short stint a few years back. Got hired while I was on summer break from college, but I made sure to tell them multiple times that my open avalibility would only last untill school started up, I went so far as to submit my schedule over a month in advance.
I had been working as a cashier for years at this point, and I like to think I am a smart cookie, so I picked up the cashier postion quite quickly, even got some of those kudos cards or what ever they were. Managed to get plenty of red card sign ups too, because it was a new target so not as mamy people had them. The only customer issue I ever had was telling an a guy he couldent pay with a check with out a matching id.
School rolls around, I’m full time, and my avalibilty drops to inly nights/weekends. One Sunday morning, half way through my shift mind, get called into the office and am let go because I “mislead them about my availability” 😑
It worked out in the end, got a job in my feild(I was going to culinary school) as a pantry cook, and kick started my career.

Someone needs to give that management team a dictionary so they know what words mean, such as "mislead".
This happened to me as well. They will nod and smile when you let them know way ahead of time and then when the time comes for your availability to change it will be a problem for them.
