My Store Manager sucks
I know everyone says their boss doesn’t like them, but I have a feeling my boss has a genuine dislike of me. She always puts me in the Mens section which is supposed to be the easiest, but I struggle in there. The department I work best in is Womens. All the managers know it. I just don’t understand why she keeps putting me in there when she knows other people would be better suited to it. It’s so stressful! I started an 8 hour shift last Saturday and didn’t get to go on any of my breaks because she said my department wasn’t finished yet and she wouldn’t allow me until I’m done. It’s a recurring thing, I go home tired, blistered and hungry because I work so hard at it yet still fail. I can’t stand it.

Go into your break room and read the labor law posters. They will tell you exactly how long it is legal for them to wait to give you breaks. If they are not following these rules, file a complaint with the City or State, and then contact HR and let them know that you've already filed a complaint with the local government.
TargetSucks is right. Educate yourself so they cannot take advantage of you. It's hard to stand up to leaders/bosses like that but it's only the first time that is the hardest. Good Luck.
