I quit!!!
A few weeks ago, I made a post that barely summarizes the stupid shit I went through at Tarshit. Being stuck with trash and getting shit hours and constantly berated, etc. I ended up finding a full time job and didn’t even give my boss the consideration of a two weeks notice. I quit on the day where he writes the schedule for black friday just to stick it to the man.
On my last day, I was expected to work the following in an hour:
Two tall pallets of mixed pet food, with: Sugar, flour, and big bags of dog and cat food with rugs that either go to stationary or domestics.
One flatbed of freight from the truck, which was pretty decently sized.
A pull of more mixed pet food.
A shopping cart of miscellaneous dog/cat toys, cleaning/grooming accessories, etc.
He practically yelled at me because it took me just a few minutes under an hour and a half, when it takes 3-4 people around the same time. I never saw him say anything like, “you four need to work faster, (me) can do this amount of freight in the same amount of time you guys are taking!”
Nope, it would fly right over his big fat egotistical head of his.
I am sooooo happy to be out of that shithole. Ever since I started my new job, I haven’t been yelled at or anything of the sort since! It’s amazing.
