Hate target
I’ve been at target for 4 months and slowing starting to hate it. They work me too much and are seriously understaffed. Like some days we only have 2 cashiers and need all sales floor to back up. I was scheduled for cashier one night and Lod had me work a green clip, Gstl called me back up and told lod he needed me up on the lanes. That I’m not sales floor today. Lod said that they needed green clips pushed. So gstl said not my problem, give me more then 2 cashiers and I wouldn’t need sales floor and walked away. Lod was he lead too. Tonight I didnt I was scheduled and they call me saying I was supposed to come in. I tell them that I wasn’t and they said I was and if I can come in, I say no cause I’m running a 103 fever with a cough and hr tells me “well then you’re getting written up as a no call no show if you don’t come in” I said I guess I’ll take that no call no show then. He goes “hmm. Fine. Bye”

Well, if you do go in, maybe you can get the HR douche sick?

"Human Resources" at Target is no more than a glorified administrative position. They are there to enforce and regurgitate policy and procedure, nothing more, nothing less. The HR TM in our store is the least friendly employee there. It's not difficult to enforce policy; I can walk into a store and randomly choose fifteen people and train them, and they will do just as well as the ones in the current team lead positions. The HR TL will listen to complaints, then regurgitate policy back at that person. The HR TL is an operations manager who occasionally will listen to complaints (most of the operations is done by the HR TM). If I ever get to store TL, I would fire/re-train all TL's except for three or four.

Anyone? I suspect there's an couple of ass kissing etls there. Something smells fishy. How can someone on a target min wage job earn enough pay to pay for a mortgage if they aren't a corporate ass sucker? Smells like one. And how can someone get full time hours with the benefits? lol I thought tarshit liked to give folks full time hours and part -time benefits
they don't even allow doctors notes to prove you were actually sick. I love how the LODS are rude as fuck over the phone, but then in person they suck up to you
Weird because my store calls me on a day off and I say yes or no, and when I say no that's ok, they just say alright, thank you.
