Fuck the vibe and fuck all the shitty customers
A little background, I work at a tarshit in a pretty shady part of the country and therefore our store is always getting ghetto ass people coming in trying to scam the store with fake coupons, giftcard scams, and credit card scams. At first I actually cared and always was a hard ass if a coupon didn’t go through or a card looked tampered with. However, after one fat ass cunt bitch complained to my LOD that I didn’t take her 1000000 coupons, which were all copied, I was told that I should be more “bold” and go ahead and give our “guests” discounts and accept their coupons and not questions whether they are real or not because the “guest” is always right. All of this coming from an LOD who just fucking started! I’ve been here at this shitty target for 2 years, I know who are the lying thieving scumbags and who aren’t, you haven’t a clue bitch. Anyways she was LOD so what could I do? I did what she asked and later on in the day when another lady came to check out with literally a 5 inch stack of coupons I began to scan them all. The LOD even passed by me and I stared directly at her with the stack of coupons in my hand and she looked away. Few minutes later my GSTL
comes by and shuts the lady with the coupons down and starts giving me shit for not doing my fucking job! Are you fucking kidding me? I call out the LOD right away and my GSTL calls her over and this fucking bitch, oh my god this fucking bitch is on her side and badgers me saying I’m not attentive to my job and I should pay more attention and do what I think is right.

No wonder target is losing money
Expired coupons are not to be accepted. However, if it is a day or 2 past the expiration date, we can make an exception for the guest. Also, if we have expired coupons on products on the sales floor we can make it right and accept the coupon even if we have to manually do it. Target does not accept photo copied coupons but we are not to judge when at the register. If you suspect that the coupon is fraudulent, simply scan it. If it scans without prompting to accept or decline leave it be. If the register prompts to accept or decline, verify that the guest is buying the correct item-look at size, color etc--it has to be exactly what the coupon says. Neither does Target accept two BOGO or two buy one get one free where both items will be free. Target does not accept store coupons from other places however they accept manufacturer coupons from other stores such as those that print from the epson printer that cashiers give to guest to entice them to return ans shop again. The normal rule is to happily accept or scan coupons but we have a right to limit coupons to normal retail purchases as there are those guests who will come to the register with a shopping cart full of A block products and a stock of coupons. If a guest is buying 6 shampoos and has 6 manufacturers coupons or one for each that is a no go! Target only accepts 4 manufacturers coupons per guest. Note that one target accepts one target coupon and one manufacturers coupon per item. Coupons can be combined with cartwheel offers as well. Target also accepts internet coupons. The coupon policy is on their website. Coupons are just like cash and must be treated as such. Due to improper, rushed or incomplete training we have discovered that there are hires/new hires who are placing coupons in the trash after they scan them. Bummer!
Gotta love it when the LOD throws you right under the bus and the GSTL is driving the damn thing.
