!!! FUCK RED CARDS !!!
SERIOUSLY! Fuck Red Cards!
i am so sick and tired of hearing about how many we “need” to get – how many I did or did not get – quite frankly, I haven’t been asking out of spite because of the condescending way I’ve been spoken to lately.
Why give a fuck when no one cares about you? I sure don’t feel “valued” – though I’m 1st to be called for backup – I’m called to come in on my ONLY day off after working 10 days straight – I’m basically able to do anything in the store they need – I’ve even done carts for them!!!!
GUESS WHAT? FUCK RED CARDS!
1.) THE DEBIT CARD IS A GLORIFIED CHECK CARD THAT TAKES FOREVER TO COME OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT
2.) 5% ISNT EVEN TAX IN MY STATE – it’s 7% here in NJ
3.) THE INTREST RATE FOR THE CREDIT CARD IS 23.99 or something HIGHER – EITHER WAY, HIGHHHHHHHHH INTEREST! Why would someone want that when there’s tons of better cards to get with REWARDS AND POINTS AND MILES LOL AND MOST OF ALL – LOWER INTREST !
I HATE THESE GODDAMN CARDS. I am so close to telling our “Sr. GSTL” to put a red card up her ass ?

Red cards are for sure bad. I have 7% tax in my state MN also. It was at 24.99% interest but it's gone down to 22.99% interest on the credit red card. Every time I get asked to ask guests about red card I say to my GSTL, oh so you get a bonus pay of extra money and I don't? Yeah right. If anything the red card is for leaders to get bonus pay and target make that much more money.
better off pushing cards at walmart, at least you get 4 dollars commission. EVen the canadian version of target (zellers ) before target came up here gave employees a measly $2.50 in points. You had to sign up 4 cards before you could cash out for a $10 giftcard. Upgrade folks to the mastercard version, during the holidays we got a dollar worth of reward points. I was told one person signed up so many he didn't have to pay for his gas. You could cash out for a 10 dollar gas station giftcard as well. 🙂
If target wants to increase sign ups, they should give employees money incentives like commission or something.
I totally agree. Why are higher ups getting a bonus for harassing the cashier to get a signup and not the cashier who is actually signing the person up? This company totally needs a union, I would love to see that.
This whole company is a joke and they expect you to bend over backwards and bust your ass even when you're sick for the lousy just above minimum wage pay.
I took such a pay cut coming here thinking it would be better. I feel so stupid. The only thing I don't regret about working here is the people that have became my friends.
