ETL EARNING BONUSES of $20,000 & $40,000? how is that possible?!
i know a hardlines etl who seems to bring home ridiculous bonuses of $20000 and $40000, hwithin months of eachother. How is that possible?? Is that typical. she just started with target last january. i was under the impression that etl make around $50k, how does one earn that kind of bonus? seems like she is making 6 figures. i dont work for target but all of the money she is making is making me consider applying. is this a typical bonus gor an etl? how much is a etl bonus typically.

I found out that the ETLs are granted bonuses for any unused hours given to them by HQ. So they basically cut hours just to get more money. Although, other factors such as sales also contribute.
I always thought that was common knowledge among the grunts. Certainly at the store I worked.
Whoever you heard that from is full of shit and is also r******d as fuck. ETL's earn bonuses anywhere in the 2-4,000 range, IF they earn that bonus. Even the $4,000 is only really bonused out to the Store Team Lead, and that's IF headquarters allots the bonus.
They get bonuses for reaching store budget goals, and for not using all of the hours they are granted throughout the year. It's called "banking hours", and it's the reason everyone's hours get cut to shit--so ETL's can bonus out.
But $20,000-$40,000 bonuses? Complete bullshit. I almost wish I could bitch slap you for being dumb enough to believe that.
Agreed.
