End to end team bullshit

I don’t really know how many stores have already switched over to working in these teams or whatever but supposedly it was “just a test” to see if things would work out better this way or if we should just keep things the way they were (we never were going to have a choice obviously) Going into it we were told by our stl that it was going to be complete chaos as they didn’t even really know what was going on. It’s been about two weeks and it’s the dumbest thing that could have happened. They’re throwing people into an entire section with no knowledge about pog, pricing, backstock and pulls, etc and expecting it to get done by that person who is someone that just came off of truck and only knows how to read a location ! We were told that the people on each team were split up based on who could train everyone (one team has one person from pog, pricing, backroom, etc) but everytime its come down to it we get in trouble for helping another person because it’s “not our responsibility” and our team leads are “sick of telling us to mind your own business and don’t get caught helping another area” ?! Is anybody else’s experience going any better than this ?? We’ve had 3 main people leave already and I don’t see many people being able to stick around for this for too much longer ?

Nah, my experience isn't that much better. Like you said, a lot of the people are thrown into doing things they were never taught. I've noticed that some people were "trained" how to back stock but it's more like, let me show you how this is done briefly and disappear. I've found a lot of things that have been backstocked in the wrong location or one time, a guy was told to LOCU an entire aisle and he didn't even rebackstock the things there so a lot of the things weren't located.

There's a bunch of girls in the HBA *ahem* essentials team, and they were assigned specific aisles to complete. When one of the girls were there and a lead told them to do their aisles, she complains, saying it's not her job because she was assigned those specific aisles. This isn't my job etc, but it is!! I think they should've at least kept the backroom team. That way there won't be 50 people trying to backstocked at once. (BTW, our backroom is tiny compared to others!)

I also think they could've rolled out the process better. Everything was too rushed. You need to take the time to properly train everyone if they're supposed to be doing everything. Before the end to end process even showed up, I had left flow team because I was tired of stocking every truck day. I was on presentation for a week and then they tell us about the new process. Sure I stayed on presentation for about 2 months but I went right back to stocking. Every. Day. Again. Oh, except I have to do my own pulls and backstocked. Within a four hour span, sure, I can totally do that, especially working in 3 areas of the store pertaining to hardlines.
