Dumb rules
I twisted my knee while working service desk today ( too much crap in the back…). It hurts to stand on it, so I asked my gstl if I could get a stool back there to sit on. He said there’s a rule about sitting back there. So I tried to stick it out, but pain kept getting worse so I finally talked to my LOD and explained what happened and asked if I could sit to make it through my shift. She said no and told me to go home. Why can’t I just get a stool, rather than put the stress on everyone else?!

That's some BS. I recommend you get a doctor's note ASAP because if you have an injury they have to provide reasonable accommodation. I would also suggest you report this incident to the hotline and describe what Happened because you injured yourself ON THE JOB and they weren't willing to accommodate. Which open them up to a ton of problems. Even if reporting them doesn't help you need to be documenting everything. You could potentially sue them if you continue to work like that and get injured.
That’s terrible. When I worked at target, a cashier who was 7 months pregnant was given a hard time about having a stool for their 9 hour shift just in case they needed it for a few minutes. The company cares nothing about their employees.
