Dress code rule they don’t want you to know.
You don’t have to wear kaky pants! Target believes you won’t ever read the team member hand book, and face it, who even still has there’s after about a week? One day after being screamed at for having stickers on my name tag, I took a look at the handbook. Although I found out that you can’t have stickers, but you also don’t have to wear kaky pants to work. On page 15( I think) the hand book says you can wear any solid color pants. They say preferably kaky, not kaky required. On the front of the handbook it says “no store exempt” so if you feel like taking revenge at work, just walk in in blue pants, point out the rule, and you can’t get in trouble. Have fun guys!

We had to fight our ETL-HR for it, but we are now allowed to wear black pants.
The more controversial topic at my store is: what about khaki colored jeans?
Ah I can see it now...
LOD: Target Slave #009765 why aren't you wearing khaki pants?
T. Slave 009765: Because the handbook says I don't have to.
LOD: Ohhhhhh okay then *smiles real wide and walks off*
2 weeks later....
T. Slave 009765: WTF why do I only have 10 hours this week? And the week after that I have NO hours WTF???
This is true.
At my store, they started making Electronics Team Member wear collared dress shirts.
My friend said it wasn't in the official policy so he wasn't going to do it. He then started wearing a red hoodie just to piss them off.
They cut his hours to opening four hours shifts during the week.
Allright! Thanks man. I ought wear something different and than get less hours because I hate the job.
My last day is Friday I plan to walk in wearing black pants haha what can they do fire me... I already quit
