Can someone tell me
Why they would they would hire a GSTL off the street with no retail experience, and whose only job was flipping burgers at McDonalds? no college, and i’m not quite sure if she even finished high school. surely she knew someone, wouldn’t you think?
There are a handful of people in the store who are very qualified to handle the position.Three of those people applied for the job but were told that they were hiring someone new to target who had more experience. If it were you, wouldn’t you feel like it would be a slap in the face?. I feel bad for the people who were turned down. I see them training this new person and see her talking down to them. I’m waiting for her to fall on her face. She is a young girl, who has no understanding that you have to be nice to people on the way up, because you will need them on the way down.
I do not understand target. This was by no means an improvement for the company. It has made an already low morale place, even worse.

that's target for you and they're blaming anyone but themselves for the poor sales up here
I've said this before, but Target is all about first impressions. You really have to start kissing ass from the second you get there if you want to get promoted. The problem with trying to get promoted from within is that management already knows what you can and can't do. If you've pissed off the wrong person or did something wrong one time, three years ago, they remember and will hold it against you.
