Black “Thursday”
So apparently Target is opening at 9PM on Thanksgiving Thursday. Glad to see that they value their employees spending time with their families during the holidays.
This is disgusting. I guess you can’t expect anything else from them though, right?

It appears as if a lot of Target etl's and stl's had prior knowledge of this cause a lot of them have upped(quit) and left the company from various stores. More will be leaving too I am sure of it. Target stores are so disorganized now more than ever that it is pathetic. This fourth quarter is set in stone as it will be the most hellish holiday season in the stores with the fast hiring, rushed and unfinished training of new team members who are frustrated as hell. Do not expect most of them to survive the the holiday season. It is a funky mess. While the Target CEO George whatever his name is rests at home with his family for Thanksgiving, team members will have to break away from family from the one day that most of them get to settle with family members. So for those Target team members who travel to be with family members their Thanksgiving holiday is PHUCKED! Literally! How quick they forget the hard work that team members put in when review time comes around with their $0.03 to $0.11 cents raises!!!! OUCH!
Are people just now figuring out that Target doesn't give a shit about its employees? Haha
Black Thursday--the day that fat ladies with their husband's money get the opportunity to jog off their last McDonald's double quarter-pounder with cheese while they search tirelessly for that shitty-brand 32" TV so they can sit around later with their obese families and watch shows about people who've actually done shit with their lives.
You're giving them WAY too much credit! They're watching Honey Boo Boo, and they've done nothing with their lives!
So it's official? 9pm? Our ETL still won't disclose the time to us (the flow team). He says its still up in the air, but I know he's lying to us. The same with pretty much everything else he tells us.
Honey Boo Boo is a timeless classic for all Target shoppers. I won't be surprised when the front endcaps in Domestics start carrying Pillow Pets in the shape of Honey Boo Boo's fat fucking face. Hell, I'll snuggle it after my double-dose of deep-fried cheese with a side of blended bacon smoothie.
@crappy_etl..."up in the air" my ass. Yes they will open at 9pm! Certain folks got to be there earlier anyways. Etl's tend to gossip more than anybody else in the building as they sit on their asses taking extended breaks, on the sales floor just gossiping about team members and target instead of doing real work or being in receiving by the dock just talking away. They talk so much they always let the cat out of the bag before it purrs. I wonder which store they will be closing next right after they empty our pockets this holiday season. Mmmm?
The first thing that comes to mind will be a store worker being stomped to death by the rushing mob and nobody will stop to even pull him out of the way. And over time he'll eventually excrete his feces that were made up of his Thanksgiving meal -- his last supper.
Target may open at 9 but we need to be there at 8:30 for this shit.
They asked for volunteers to work Black Thursday. They only thing you get for going in is the few hours of time & a half on Thursday and an extra dollar an hour for the rest of the shift! That's insulting if you ask me.
Target is no better than Walmart and now it's obvious to the entire country! Target shoppers shop at Target because they don't like Walmart, don't like Walmart's customer service, don't like how Walmart treats their employees, how Walmart treats their customers, how Walmart treats the communities, and so on. Definately not for the prices at Target since pretty much EVERYTHING is cheaper at Walmart. You would think Target knows all this and would respect their shoppers for shopping there. Nope, they decided to be like Walmart. Maybe now their customers will see how Target is exactly like Walmart minus the balls! The ad isn't that good especially having seen what Walmart has. We haven't even gotten that much in for Black Thursday and Friday anyways so I envision a lot of pissed off guests!!!!!! For all those working I wish you the best of luck!
Walmart is light-years ahead of Target. Just look at who each company hires, and you can see the difference in diversity. Walmart also one of the leading companies in the country to use green energy. Target sucks the life out of the country, Walmart at least tries to give back.
Walmart hires ugly people, though. Just saying. Well, they both do; but Walmart's people are definitely uglier.
