Target Sucks - We Hate Target and We Know We're Not Alone.

Be forwarned…

Be forwarned if you fall in Target, even when there is a puddle of water on the floor inside of the store as water was flowing under the bathroom door into the aisle. I took a fall and now have back problems that have required morphine and methadone. Target holds themselves to zero liability. This happened to me on June 25, 2010 and they have put my claim off until yesterday May 29, 2012 and then they told me I only have 25 days to try for compensation before they statue of limitations is up. Target and CMS (who manages their claims) should be ashamed of themselves. I was also told word for word that “I SHOULD HAVE BEEN MORE CAREFUL” this from their claims service, CMS.

Do the smart thing. #1 FILE A CLAIM. #2 Check on the actual statute of limitations. As long as you file your claim within the period, it doesn't matter, your suit will be heard in court. Do it! Sue them! NOW!!!!

Get a lawyer, call one soon, and tell him what has happened to you, and that you are being told you will be terminated within 25 days. Sue the Target corporation, they can not fire you due to an accident that happened to you in there store. Based on the United States law work enforcement in most states, getting hurt on the job, the employment you are working for must compensate and leave you a time of absence if you have a doctors note of not to work while heeling.

Call your state's Department of Human Labor and file a formal complaint. They will investigate the matter and take things from there with you.
