Assholes, every TL and higher up
I’ve worked at Target for almost 7 years. I’ve worked hard all that time and my reward is for my hours to be severely cut. Now they have the gall to tell me my productivity is down and that I need to shape up or my raise will be affected. My asshole TL said that other TLs and ETLs have noticed it. BULLSHIT. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen that stupid prick standing around talking about football or some other thing for up to 20 minutes at a time while I’m working my ass off. He usually does it about two or three times a day. I think I know the TLs who “noticed”; one usually wanders around after all his work is done so he can build his hours up to get overtime and the other has only been here about a two months and already seems to think he’s the best person in that store. I’m surprised my ETL can notice me not working since he has his face buried in his cellphone playing some stupid Marvel game all day. And when he’s not doing that, he’s usually talking to another ETL about it. Frankly, I think this is just an excuse to take my hours away and give them to those TLs. A few weeks ago on a Thursday they cut hours from half the people in the Backroom for the following week because those TLs weren’t getting enough hours. At my store if your not a TL or higher, your trash.

I have spoken to my store manager, the lady who's in charge of everyone. She has spoken to me many times. She said that hours are cut due to less guests, less buying from guests, they can't help it, they do sales, good ads, good coupons. Just said try to look up more hours in the book, take someones day over. If the CEO just took 10 million off of his salary, we would all be getting more hours of pay at there. I've been there 5 years and it's a joke now really. Oh it will get better she says. Yeah sure, it's all about guests buying our stuff. I just sold a tv, chairs, sofas, entertainment centers, that's not enough money for a day of Target daily profits? I hear yeah man, it's crap the way they just take away everyones hours who is cashier, sales floor, back room, or cart attendant.
lol! Would you like it if they took $100 out of your salary? Trying to convince a CEO to drop 10 million off their salary is hilarious. They might pay you for making them laugh though.
It's not hopeless. Nintendo Reggie Fils-Aime took a 50% salary pay cut when the Nintendo 3DS didn't make good sales and Nintendo lost big profit. If Nintendo does it, why doesn't Target CEO? Why not Walmart or Best Buys CEO? Because American rich people are pricks and don't give a shit about the employees of America. While the Japanese have showed they actually care about there people.
