A raise for a good review at our store is 15-20 cents… after a full year of waiting for a first raise.
It really is a joke how Target never gets “targeted” by the media for their low wage practices. They cut hours like morons because they don’t watch their payroll on closing shifts, then everyone has hours cut till they catch up (and ensure their bonuses) but they expect the same production rate. 8 hours of work done in 4 hours of an actual shift is common during weeks where hours are cut. They willingly take away hours, UNTIL they have them. Then when they have them, they overschedule people who signed up for part time hours. People who signed on for 25-30 hours cause they are students or have another job regularly get 10-15 extra hours when payroll is not an issue. They constantly deny schedule changes, as well as requests for days off, but yet when their payroll is lower they have no problem to cut anyone and everyone as they choose. All of these issues for such pathetic annual “raises”
A mediocre review? 5-10 cents. A GOOD review? 15-20 cents. A GREAT review? 24-30 cents…………………… GEEZ Target!

hate to break it to you but a whopping 15 to 20 cents in tarshitland is actually a lot. Quite a few people on here have reported way less. 8 cent raise, 10 cent raise.
thats pretty funny though Silverfox.....I was offered a 0.28 cent raise, I never came back, what an insult,....that was the straw that broke the camel's back, anything less then a dollar raise is unacceptable, especially when the big shots make a fortune, and also when they had just cut our $1 extra an hour before 8 am bonus
Sure its retail, but come on tarshit......................
I just thought of a nice way for us to screw them over and make them lose money. Penny pinch them to death. Since target is price matching every big box retailer in canada, price match all the other stores loss leaders at target. If you have their discount card still great. That means they lose 10% more to you. Since target rules means you can't get the discount if paying in another form of payment except debit or cash. Do it the gift card way. xD. RFD EFFECT! You has people pming loss leaders from other stores at tarshit and using the red card credit card but they pay the bill in full so no interest to be made off of them.
