A couple of months feels like eternity
Been employed with Target for a couple of months, and it’s honestly become a chore already. I don’t mind the hard work, but the pay should be higher to match the amount of the work they expect us to have done. The whole “Dedicated Business Owner” mantra should be reflected in the hourly wage as well. Their expectations are way too high, and the leaders believe in criticism over motivation.
On to the Leaders. They talk to the entire team like they are idiots, with no obvious respect at all. Unless you’re one of their favorites. This store is freakishly clique-ish. And it shows when it comes to who they appreciate and who they judge. The whole department is like a high school soap opera, with the constant gossip and whispering. And the team leads try to butter us up,by saying how we’re such a family. Not true.
There is zero communication in this store. Just a bunch of bosses with individual agendas, and they dont come together to come up with a plan, which makes it confusing for the employees.
I thought Target would be a good place to start my retail career again, and possibly move up to a team lead, but with the way I’m treated in this store, I don’t see it happening. This place is a joke. And it’s sad I already am wanting to look elsewhere for a job.

Yup, doesn't matter how hard you work, they always go you didn't get this done, why not?! And go oh my god why didn't you get this done, that done? It's like I'm one person, not 5.
It’s sad that Tarshit does so many things to make people wanna quit. They are gonna run the company into ground. Heck they already did in Canada.
