Target Sucks - We Hate Target and We Know We're Not Alone.

A Bit of Good News?

Just want to start this out by saying I love this place, it’s been a good source of catharsis for me as I work in an increasingly worse and worse environment at Target.

For a change, there’s a bit of a bright spot at Target. I’m guessing this is a response to Walmart’s recent announcement to increase wages, so Target has also announced a wage increase to $9 an hour. It’s not much, it needs to be more, and it’s not going to keep me from trying to get my ass out of Dodge, but it’s 50ยข more. I just hope this won’t screw me out of whatever paltry raise I had coming from my upcoming review.

It's pretty sad that Target has to play catch-up with Walmart.

actually target said initially they weren't raising anything after the walmart news, it wasn't until the womans groups etc were on them that they quietly changed their tune.

  • viciousdave says:

I just saw many news websites that Target is raising to $9 next month. That's good for me, not much though, I already make $8,79 right now. $9 dollars is like oh I can buy some more candy now. Hahaha. But it's good nontheless. If Target doesn't give $9 dollars to me at my store than I will show them the millions articles. I'll be super pist off. It's either April or May we always get our reviews anyway. So yeah the $9 makes sense for next month. Tomorrow I'm going to personally ask a team lead to tell me if he's been told the news my corporate.

  • Silverfox says:

um guess what tarshit $9 is still smaller than $10. Target can't add or subtract properly. But that's ok. They can pay $14 an hour and people still won't work for them. ๐Ÿ˜‰ alberta target poster posted $13.50 and she still left.

  • Silverfox says:

And tarshit can't seem to pay it's taxes either.

Even if you don't work at target, Target's somehow trying to find a way to rip you off too. Using the Canadian failure to get a 1.6 billion tax break apparently.
