So sick of hearing my name
I was working last week in softlines. I blazed through the first three of my four sections leaving only shoes (which I had zoned first but hey there was a sale) . One of my fellow team members came up with a huge cart she was told by our LOD to sort. With two and a half hours left I decided to help her sort the heaping cart so that she could get back to her area which was really a mess. I was then yelled at by the LOD and told to do my job. I finished shoes probably 45 mins. later after taking time to make it look nice. I was then told to go do hardlines reshop in our team lead\ LOD section. We have to z racks filled with swim wear and women’s clothing but I’m sent away???? In the time I was doing their reshop my team watched them both sit at the fitting room, play on their phones, and talk. The LOD then had the nerve to ask why softlines wasn’t done and make one of the girls cry. I was even yelled at for comforting the girl and telling her she did a good job (all she had left was folded clothing sitting in the top of the cart. We put it away in 5 min.) This place is a living hell and 90% of us in that store are already looking for other employment. Sad when the running joke amongst us is oh you still work here?

Ah come on, what the hell Target? At least you had a gratitude to help another who was yelled at, that was nice of you to do for another. While Target doesn't care about your feelings or health for that matter. At my store I call in the most due to my bad health of anemia which causes chronic fatigue, it can happen at anytime regardless of less or a lot of sleep. Recognize my fatigue problems, damn.
I feel your pain. I recently left my softlines brand team member position because I was always scheduled to work by myself 8 - 4:30 and was expected to do everything while helping out other work centers who couldn't get their crap done, especially truck. I feel like softlines at Target gets shafted. Overworked, under-appreciated, and underpaid!
